FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS

The following festival special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of traffic during the Irumudi festival at Melmaruvathur, Christmas, New Year, Thaipoosam and Pongal festivals.

1. Tri-weeky special trains between Coimbatore – Chengalpattu

Train No.06626 Coimbatore – Chengalpattu special train will leave Coimbatore at 22.50 hrs. o­n 11^th, 14^th, 16^th, 18^th, 21^st, 23^rd, 25^th, 28^th, 30^th December 2014, 01^st, 4^th, 6^th, 8^th, 11^th, 13^th, 15^th, 18^th, 20^th, 22^nd, 25^th, 27^th, 29^th January 2015, 01^st & 03^rdFebruary 2015 and reach Chengalpattu at 08.00 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06625 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore special train will leave Chengalpattu at 17.00 hrs. on 12^th, 15^th, 17^th, 19^th, 22^nd, 24^th, 26^th, 29^th, 31^st December 2014, 02^nd, 05^th, 07^th, 09^th, 12^th, 14^th, 16^th, 19^th, 21^st, 23^rd, 26^th, 28^th, 30^th January 2015, 02^nd & 04^thFebruary 2015 and reach Coimbatore at 02.30 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 10 Sleeper Class, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Somanur, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.

2. Bi-weekly special trains between Rameswaram – Chengalpattu (via Karaikkudi, Tiruchchirappali, Vriddhachalam)

Train No. 06752 Rameswaram – Chengalpattu special train will leave Rameswaram at 14.30 hrs. on 15^th, 17^th, 22^nd, 24^th, 29^th, 31^stDecember 2014, 05^th, 07^th, 12^th & 14^thJanuary 2015 and reach Chengalpattu at 03.00 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06751 Chengalpattu – Rameswaram special train will leave Chengalpattu at 14.00 hrs. o­n 16^th, 18^th, 23^rd, 25^th, 30^th December 2014, 01^st, 06^th, 08^th, 13^th & 15^thJanuary 2015 and reach Rameswaram at 02.00 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 10 Sleeper Class, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Ramanathapuram, Paramakkudi, Manamadurai, Sivaganga, Devakottai Road, Karaikkudi, Pudukkottai, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.

3. Weekly special trains between Rameswaram – Chengalpattu (via. Manamadurai, Madurai, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam)

Train No.06754 Rameswaram – Chengalpattu special train will leave Rameswaram at 14.30 hrs. o­n 19^th, 26^th December 2014, 02^nd, 09^th & 16^th January 2015 and reach Chengalpattu at 03.00 hrs. the next day.

Train No.06753 Chengalpattu – Rameswaram special train will leave Chengalpattu at 14.00 hrs. on 20^th, 27^th December 2014, 03^rd, 10^th & 17^thJanuary 2015 and reach Rameswaram at 02.00 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 10 Sleeper Class, 6 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Ramanathapuram, Paramakkudi, Manamadurai, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.
