FLAGGING OFF OF HARIHAR-YESVANTPUR-HARIHAR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS(Tr. No.16578/16577)

There was persistent demand from Public of Harihar area for introduction of Train between Harihar-Yesvantpur-Chikmagalur, considering the demand from Public, introduction of Train Nos. 16578/16577 Harihar-Yesvantpur-Harihar Tri-Weekly Express will be done at Harihar Railway Station as it is approved by Railway Board.

The pending demand will be fulfilled by introducing the Train viz., Train Nos. 16578/16577 Harihar-Yesvantpur-Harihar Tri-Weekly Express on Friday, the 07^th November, 2014.The Tri-Weekly Express will be flagged off by Shri G.M. SIDDESHWAR, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Govt. of India at HARIHAR RAILWAY STATION in the morning at08-30 a.m. on Friday, the 07^th November, 2014.Shri Rajkumar Lal, Divisional Railway Manager, Mysore Division and other Senior Railway Officers, Staff and local Public of Harihar will be present on the occasion.

The INAUGURAL SPECIAL TRAIN will run on 07^th Nov.2014 (Friday) with Open Timings

The details of REGULAR SERVICE OF TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS TRAIN TIMINGS are as follows:--

Train No.16578 HARIHAR-YESVANTPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at HARIHAR at 05-00 hrs. on Wednesday, Thursday & Fridays and arrive at YESVANTPUR station at 11-25 hrs., on the same day, with effect from 12^th November, 2014 (Wednesday).

En route, the Tri-Weekly Express Train arrives/departs at Davangere at 05-15/05-18 hrs; Mayakonda at 05-54/05-55 hrs; Chikjajur at 05-54/05-55 hrs; Shivani at 06-19/06-20 hrs; Kadur at 07-03/07-05 hrs; Arsidkere at 07-40/07-45 hrs; Tiptur at 08-23/08-25 hrs., and arrives/departs at Tumkur at 09-38/09-40 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 16577 YESVANTPUR-HARIHAR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at YESVANTPUR station at 16-15 hrs., on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursdays, and arrive at HARIHAR Station at 23-30 hrs., on the same day, with effect from11^th Nov.2014(Tuesday).

En route, the Tri-weekly Express Train arrives/departs at Tumkur at 17-28/17-30 hrs; Tiptur at 19-08/19-10 hrs; Arsikere at 19-50/19-55 hrs; Kadur at 20-38/20-40 hrs; Shivani at 21-04/21-05 hrs; Chikjajur at 21-58/22-00 hrs; Mayakonda at 22-18/22-20 hrs; and arrives/departs at Davanagere at 23-05/23-06 hrs.

The Tri-Weekly Express Train has total 15 Coaches, consisting of One AC Chair Car, Six Second Class Chair Cars & Six General Second Class (Sitting) coaches & Two Second Class Luggage –cum-brake Vans.
