CHANGES IN PATTERN OF SUBURBAN TRAIN SERVICES

Due to Line Block to facilitate engineering works between MMC – Avadi in Chennai – Thiruvallur section, changes will be made in the pattern of suburban train services on 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017 as explained below.

A.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from MMC, will be cancelled o­n 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017

1.MMC – Thiruvallur EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.30, 09.45, 11.30, 12.10 & 13.20 hrs. will be cancelled.

2.MMC – Tiruttani EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.00 & 11.45 hrs. will be cancelled.

3.MMC – Avadi EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 09.00, 10.05, 10.15, 10.45 & 12.35 hrs. will be cancelled.

4.MMC – Kadambattur EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 10.30 & 12.00 hrs. will be cancelled.

5.MMC – Arakkonam EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 11.05, 12.50 & 13.45 hrs. will be cancelled.

6.MMC – Pattabiram E Depot EMU locals, scheduled to leave MMC at 12.25, 12.20 & 13.00 hrs. will be cancelled.

B.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from Chennai Beach, will be cancelled o­n 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017

1.Chennai Beach – Thiruvallur EMU locals, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 09.50 & 13.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

2.Chennai Beach – Pattabiram E Depot EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 10.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

3.Chennai Beach – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 11.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

4.Chennai Beach – Tiruttani EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 12.10 hrs. will be cancelled.

C.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from suburban stations to MMC, will be cancelled o­n 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017

1.Thiruvallur – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Thiruvallur at 09.10, 10.05, 10.55, 11.30, 12.00, 13.05 & 14.40 hrs. will be cancelled.

2.Avadi – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Avadi at 09.15, 09.55 & 11.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

3.Arakkonam – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Arakkonam at 08.55 & 12.00 hrs. will be cancelled.

4.Pattabiram E Depot – MMC EMU locals, scheduled to leave Pattabiram E Depot at 10.30, 11.25 & 12.50 hrs. will be cancelled.

5.Tiruttani – MMC EMU local, scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 09.40 hrs. will be cancelled.

6.Kadambattur – MMC EMU local, scheduled to leave Kadambattur at 13.35 hrs. will be cancelled.

 D.The following suburban train services, scheduled to leave from suburban stations to Chennai Beach, will be cancelled o­n 28.10.2017 and 29.10.2017

1.Tiruttani – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Tiruttani at 08.50 hrs. will be cancelled.

2.Thiruvallur – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Thiruvallur at 11.00 hrs. will be cancelled.

3.Avadi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Avadi at 12.10 hrs. will be cancelled.

4.Kadambattur – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to leave Kadambattur at 12.05 hrs. will be cancelled.

In lieu of the cancelled suburban train services, passenger special trains will be run o­n 28.10.2017 & 29.10.2017 as explained below

The passenger special trains from MMC / Chennai Beach towards suburban stations will not stop at Vyasarpadi Jiva, Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Avadi, Hindu College and Pattabiram.

The passenger special trains from suburban stations towards MMC / Chennai Beach will not stop at Pattabiram, Hindu College, Annanur, Thirumullaivoil, Ambattur, Pattaravakkam, Korattur, Perambur Loco Works, Perambur Carriage Works and Vyasarpadi Jiva.

A.Passenger special EMUs from MMC o­n 28.10.2017 & 29.10.2017

1.Passenger special EMUs from MMC to Thiruvallur will leave MMC at 09.30, 09.45 & 11.50 hrs.

2.Passenger special EMU from MMC to Tiruttani will leave MMC at 10.05 hrs.

3.Passenger special EMU from MMC to Pattabiram will leave MMC at 10.15 hrs.

4.Passenger special EMU from MMC to Thiruninravur will leave MMC at 10.30 hrs.

5.Passenger special EMUs from MMC to Pattabiram E Depot will leave MMC at 11.15, 12.20 & 13.00 hrs.

6.Passenger special EMU from MMC to Avadi will leave MMC at 12.35 hrs.

7.Passenger special EMUs from MMC to Arakkonam will leave MMC at 12.50 & 13.40 hrs.

B.Passenger special EMUs from Chennai Beach o­n 28.10.2017 & 29.10.2017

1.Passenger special EMUs from Chennai Beach to Thiruvallur will leave Chennai Beach at 09.50 & 13.05 hrs.

2.Passenger special EMU from Chennai Beach to Pattabiram E Depot will leave Chennai Beach at 10.05 hrs.

3.Passenger special EMUs from Pattabiram E Depot to MMC will leave Pattabiram E Depot at 10.30, 11.25, 12.55 & 13.40 hrs.

D.Passenger special EMUs from suburban stations to Chennai Beach o­n 28.10.2017 & 29.10.2017

1.Passenger special EMU from Tiruttani to Chennai Beach will leave Tiruttani at 08.50 hrs.

2.Passenger special EMU from Thiruvallur to Chennai Beach will leave Thiruvallur at 11.00 hrs.

3.Passenger special EMU from Avadi to Chennai Beach will leave Avadi at 13.30 hrs.

E.Passenger special EMUs from suburban stations to Avadi o­n 28.10.2017 & 29.10.2017

1.Passenger special EMU from Pattabiram to Avadi will leave Pattabiram at 11.10 hrs.

2.Passenger special EMU from Thiruninravur to Avadi will leave Thiruninravur at 11.35 hrs.

3.Passenger special EMU from Arakkonam to Avadi will leave Arakkonam at 11.20 hrs.

RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAINS ON KONKAN RAILWAY ROUTE

Good news for passengers !! Konkan Railway in co-ordination with Southern Railway will run a Bharat Darshan Special Train from Madurai to Madgaon and back, organised by the South Zone of IRCTC. Two AC 3-tier coaches and four Sleeper Class coaches of the special train will be available for booking through Passenger Reservation System (PRS) centres. The different legs of the special train are as detailed below.

1.Special fare special train from Madurai to Chennai Egmore
Train No.06901 Madurai – Chennai Egmore special fare special train will leave Madurai at 00.05 hrs. on 07.01.2017 and reach Chennai Egmore at 10.30 hrs. the same day.

Stoppages:Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli and Villupuram Jn.

2.Special fare special train from Chennai Egmore to Ernakulam Jn.
Train No.06902 Chennai Egmore – Ernakulam Jn. special fare special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 10.50 hrs. on 07.01.2017 and reach Ernakulam Jn. at 02.20 hrs. the next day.

Stoppages: Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem Jn, Erode Jn, Podanur Jn, Palakkad Jn, Wadakancheri and Thrissur.

3.Special fare special train from Ernakulam Jn. to Madgaon
Train No.06903 Ernakulam Jn. - Madgaon special fare special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 19.15 hrs. on 08.01.2017 and reach Madgaon at 10.30 hrs. the next day.

Stoppages: Thrissur, Shoranur Jn., Kozhikode, Kannur, Mangalore Jn. and Udupi.

4.Special fare special train from Madgaon to Chennai Egmore
Train No.06904 Madgaon – Chennai Egmore special fare special train will leave Madgaon at 13.00 hrs. on 11.01.2017 and reach Chennai Egmore at 14.20 hrs. the next day.

Stoppages: Udupi, Mangalore Jn., Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Palakkad Jn, Podanur Jn, Erode Jn, Salem Jn, Jolarpettai and Katpadi Jn.

5.Suvidha special train from Chennai Egmore to Madurai
Train No.82649 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Suvidha special train will leave Chennai Egmore at 14.25 hrs. on 12.01.2017 and reach Madurai at 23.55 hrs. the same day.

Stoppages:Villupuram Jn, Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul Jn.

More Trains Cancelled / Partially Cancelled / Diverted Due to Derailment of Goods Train

In view of derailment of Goods Trains at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah section, the following some more trains are cancelled / partially cancelled / diverted as detailed below:-
I) Trains Cancelled today i.e., 6th January, 2017:-
1) Train No. 17234 Balharshah – Secunderabad Baghyanagar Express scheduled to depart Balharshah today i.e., 06.01.2017 is cancelled.
2) Train No. 17233 Secunderabad - Balharshah Baghyanagar Express scheduled to depart Secunderabad today i.e., 06.01.2017 is cancelled.
II) Trains Partially Cancelled today i.e., 6th January, 2017:-
1) Train No. 17011 Hyderabad – Sirpurkagaznagar Express which left Hyderabad on 06.01.2017 is partially cancelled between Ramagundam – Sirpurkagaznagar.

Train Services Diverted due to Goods Train derailment at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah Section

A Coal laden Goods Train proceeding towards Balharshah derailed at Wihirgaon station on Kazipet – Balharshah section, about 30 kms before Balharshah station on South Central Railway at around 01.00 hrs today i.e., 6th January, 2017.
 

Resultantly, Train services in the section have been diverted via alternate routes. The following Trains which are on run are diverted as follows:-
 

1) Train No. 12723 Hyderabad – New Delhi Telangana Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Rechni Road and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

2) Train No. 12721 Hyderabad – Hazrat Nizammuddin Dakshin Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Kazipet and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
 

3) Train No. 15016 Yesvantpur - Gorakhpur Express which left Yesvantpur on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Pendiyala and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

4) Train No. 17005 Hyderabad - Raxaul Express which left Hyderabad on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Manchiryal and taken back towards Secunderabad is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

5) Train No. 12615 Chennai – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Grand Trunk Express which left Chennai on 5th January, 2017 was stopped at Peddampet and is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.

6) Train No. 15119 Rameshwaram – Manduadih Express which left Rameshwaram on 4th January, 2017 was stopped at Mandamari and is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

7) Train No. 12512 Trivandrum Central- Gorakhpur Rapti Sagar Express which left Trivandrum Central on 4th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

8) Train No. 18501 Visakhapatnam – Gandhidham Express which left Visakhapatnam on 5th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
 

9) Train No. 12975 Mysore – Jaipur Express which left Mysore on 5th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

10) Train No. 12687 Madurai - Dehradun Express which left Madurai on 4th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Adilabad and Pimpalkutti.
 

 11) Train No. 12641 Kanyakumari – Hazrat Nizamuddin Express which left Kanyakumari on 4th January, 2017 is diverted to run via., Secunderabad, Nizamabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna and Akola.
