Introduction of Tirupati-Vasco da gama-Tirupati Express and Hyderabad-Vasco da gama-Hyderabad Express

Railway has decided to introduce Train No. 17419/17420, Tirupati-Vasco da gama-Tirupati Weekly Express and Train No. 17021/17022, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama- HyderabadWeekly Express.

Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways will flag off the Tirupati-Vasco da gama train service o­n 29^th December, 2016 at Tirupati.

The inaugural special between Tirupati-Vasco da gama will be leaving Tirupati at 17:10 hours o­n 29^th December, 2016 asTrain No. 07419, Tirupati-Vasco da gama Express. The special between Hyderabad-Vasco da gama will be leaving Hyderabad at 15:00 hours o­n 29^th December, 2016 as T.No. 07021, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama Express. Both train will be amalgamated at Guntakal and will run as o­ne train as 07419 which arrives at Vasco da gama at 12:15 hours the next day.

The special train from Vasco da gama to Tirupati/Hyderabad express will leave Vasco da gama at 16:00 hours o­n 30^th December,2016 as train No. 07420 and arrives at Guntakal at 04:30 hours next day.From Guntakal, the train will be bifurcated as T.No. 07420, Vasco-da-gama-Tirupati Express and T.No. 07022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express. The T.No. 07420, Vasco-da-gama-Tirupati Express special willdepart Guntakal at 05:40 hours and reaches Tirupati at 10:30 hours. The T.No. 07022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express departs Guntakal at 05:00 hours and reaches Hyderabad at 13:45 hours.

The regular service of Train No. 17419, Tirupati -Vasco da gama Weekly Express and Train No. 17021, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama Weekly Expresswill commence with effect from 05^thJanuary, 2017, Thursday. Both train will be amalgamated at Guntakal and will run as o­ne train.

The regular service of Train No. 17420,Vasco da gama-Tirupati Weekly Express will commence with effect from 06^thJanuary, 2017, Friday. The train will be bifurcated at Guntakal as Train No.17420, which will reach Tirupati and Train No.17022 which will reach Hyderabad.

Train No. 17419, Tirupati-Vasco da gama Express departs Tirupati at 11:30 hours o­n every Thursday with effect from 05^th January, 2017 and arrives Vasco da gama at 06:00 hours the next day.In the return direction Train No.17420, Vasco da gama – Tirupati Express will depart Vasco da gama at 09:00 hours o­n every Friday and reaches Tirupati at 04:00 hours the next day.Enroute, the train has stoppages atRenigunta, Koduru, Razampet, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Muddanuru, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Ballari, Thoranagallu, Hosapete, Munirabad, Koppal, Gadag, Annigeri, Hubballi, Dharwad Alnavar, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem(Curchorem), Madgaon in both directions.

Train No. 17021, Hyderabad- Vasco da gama Express departs Hyderabad at 09:20 hours o­n every Thursday with effect from 05^th January, 2017 and reaches Vasco da gama at 06:00 hours the next day.In the return direction, Train No. 17022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express departs Vasco da gama at 09:00 hours o­n every Friday with effect from 06^thJanuary, 2017 and reaches Hyderabad at 07:40 hours o­n the next day. Enroute, the train has stoppages at Secunderabad, Kacheguda, Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Guntakal, Ballari, Thoranagallu, Hosapete, Munirabad, Koppal, Gadag, Annigeri, Hubballi, Dharwad Alnavar, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem(Curchorem), Madgaon in both directions.

The train composition of Tirupati- Vasco da gama Weekly Express will have 10 coaches comprising of o­nE AC 2-Tier Coach, o­nE AC 3-Tier Coach, THREE Sleeper Coaches, THREE General Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches.

The train composition of Hyderabad - Vasco da gama Weekly Express will have 10 coaches comprising of o­nE AC 2-Tier Coach, o­nE AC 3-Tier Coach, THREE Sleeper Coaches, THREE General Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches.

Temporary stoppage of trains at Banavar

South Western Railway will provide o­ne minute Temporary stoppage for the following trains at Banavar station during Annual Celebration (Gyarvein Sharief) from 07^thJanuary, 2017 to 11^th January, 2017 (Five Days o­nly):-

1.Train No. 16202, Shivamogga Town-Bengaluru Express arrives at Banavar at 08:10 hours and departs at 08:11 hours.

2.Train No. 16206, Mysuru-Talaguppa Express arrives at Banavar at 08:59 hours and departs at 09:00 hours.

3.Train No. 16205, Talaguppa-Mysuru Express arrives at Banavar at 18:36 hours and departs at 18:37 hours.

4.Train No. 16201, Bengaluru-Shivamogga Town Express arrives at Banavar at 18:27 hours and departs at 18:28 hours.

CENTRALRAILWAY(CR) TOPROVODE TWO MINUTE STOPPAGE AT THANE STATION FOR TRAIN NOs. 17317/17318 HUBBALLI-LOKAMANYA TILAK TERMINUS (LTT)-HUBBALLI EXPRESS WITH EFFECT FROM 01ST APRIL, 2016 :

Central Railway(CR)hasadvisedprovision of two minute stoppage at THANE station for Train Nos.17317/17318 Hubballi-Lokamanya Tilak Terminus(LTT)-Hubballi Express, with effect from 01^st April, 2016.

           Accordingly, Train No. 17317 Hubballi-Lokamanya Tilak Terminus(LTT) Express will arrive/depart atTHANE stationat 06-33/06-35 hrs., with effect from 01^st April, 2016.

            In the return direction, Train No. 17318 Lokamanya Tilak Terminues-Hubballi Express will arrive/depart at THANE station at 19-08/19-10 hrs., with effect from 01^st April, 2016.

SOUTHWESTERNRAILWAY (SWR) TO REVISE TIMINGS OF TRAIN NO. 56204 MYSURU-CHAMARAJANAGAR PASSENGER& TRAIN NO. 56281 CHAMARAJANAGAR-BENGALURU PASSENGERBETWEEN MYSURU-CHAMARAJANAGAR-MYSURU, WITH EFFECT FROM 09^th FEBRUARY, 2016:--

South Western Railway has decided to revise the timings of Train No. 56204 Mysuru-Chamarajanagar Passenger and Train No.56281 Chamarajanagar-Bengaluru Passenger between Mysuru-Chamarajanagar-Mysuru, with effect from 09^th Feb. 2016.The detailed revised timings are as furnished hereunder:--Old/existing timings are indicated in brackets.

Train No. 56204 Mysuru-Chamarajanagar Passenger departs at Mysuru station at 07-20 hrs. (no change in the existing timings); arrives/departs at Chamarajapuram at 07-24/07-25 hrs. (no change); Ashokapuram at 07-29/07-30 hrs.(no change); Kadakola at 07-42/07-43 hrs.(07-52/07-53); Tandavapura at 07-46/07-47 hrs.(07-58/07-59); Sujatapuram at 07-54/07-55 hrs.(08-05/08-06); Nanjangud Town at 07-58/08-00 hrs.(08-13/08-15); Chinnadagudi Hundi Halt at 08-08/08-09 hrs.(08-21/08-22); Narasambudhi Halt at 08-12/08-13 hrs.(08-27/08-28); Kavalande Halt at 08-22/08-23 hrs. NOTE : There is no change in timings of Train No.56281 Passenger between Mysuru and Bengalurustations.

RAILWAYS AUGMENT 03 PAIRS OF TRAINS WITH ADDITIONAL COACHES PERMANENTLY

Northeast Frontier Railway(NFR)has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12551/12552 Yesvantpur-Kamakhya-Yesvantpur Air-conditioned Weekly Express with One additional AC 2-tier coach with effect from Kamakhya end with effect from 03^rd Feb. 2016 and from Yesvantpur end from 06^th Feb. 2016.

The revised composition of the Train has total 19 coaches (earlier 18 coaches), comprising of One First Class AC coach, Four AC 2-tier coaches, Eleven AC 3-tier coaches, Two luggage-cum-brake vans with Power Cars and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

East Central Railway(ECR)has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12295/12296 Bengaluru City-Pataliputra-Bengaluru Sangamitra Express with One additional AC 3-tier coach with effect from Bengaluru City end from 05^th Feb. 2016 and from Pataliputra end from 07^th Feb. 2016.

The revised composition of the Train has total 24 coaches (earlier 23 coaches), comprising of Three AC 2-tier coaches, Four AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Three General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum disabled coaches and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

North Western Railway(NWR) has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12976/12975 Jaipur-Mysuru-Jaipur Express with One additional Second Class Sleeper coach with effect from Jaipur end from 25^th Nov. 2015 and from Mysuru end from 28^th Nov. 2015.

The revised composition of the Train has total 24 coaches (earlier 23 coaches), comprising of One First Class AC-cum-AC 2-tier coach, Two AC 2-tier coaches, Five AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum-disabled coaches and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

SOUTHERN RAILWAY TO AUGMENT 04 PAIRS OF TRAINS WITH ADDITIONAL COACHES PERMANENTLY

South Railway(SR) has decided to permanent augmentationof 04 pairs of trains Viz.,Train Nos. 22601/22602 Chennai-Shirdi-Chennai Express with One additional AC 3-tier coach, Train Nos.16332/16331 Thiruvanthapuram-Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (Mumbai)-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Express with One additional AC-3 tier coach; Train Nos. 12007/12008 Chennai-Mysuru-Chennai Shatabdi Express with One additional Second Class AC Chair Car and Train Nos. 12647/12648 Coimbatore-H. Nizamuddin-Coimbatore Kongu Express with One additional AC 3-tier coach, for clearance of extra rush, as per the following details :--

1.Train No. 22601/22602 Chennai-Shirdi-Chennai Express will be augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 10^th Feb. 2016 from Chennai end and with effect from 12^th Feb. 2016 from Shirdi end.

The revised composition of the Train will have total 22 coaches (earlier 21 coaches), comprising of One AC 2-tier coach, Five AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Three General Second Class coaches and Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum disabled coaches from the above mentioned dates.

2. Train No. 16332/16331 Thiruvananthapuram-Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus(Mumbai)-Thiruvananthapuram Weekly Express will be augmented with One additional AC 3-tier Coach with effect from 13^th Feb. 2016 from Thiruvananthapuram end and with effect from 15^th Feb. 2016 from Mumbaiend.

The revised composition of the Train will have total 21 coaches (earlier 20 coaches), comprising of Two AC 2-tier coaches, Three AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum disabled coaches and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

3. Train No. 12007/12008 Chennai-Mysuru-Chennai Shatabdi Express is augmented with One additional Second Class AC Chair Car with effect from 04^th Feb. 2016 from both Chennai and Mysuru ends.

The revised composition of the Train has total 14 coaches (earlier 13 coaches), comprising of One First Class AC Chair Car, Eleven Second Class AC Chair Cars and Two luggage-cum-brake vans with Power Cars, from the above mentioned dates.

4. Train No. 12647/12648 Coimbatore-H.Nizamuddin-Coimbatore Kongu Express will be augmented with One additional AC 3-tier coach with effect from 14^th Feb. 2016 from Coimbatore end and from 17^th Feb. 2016 from Nizamuddin end.

The revised composition of the Train will have total 23 coaches (earlier 22 coaches), comprising of One AC 2-tier coach, Two AC 3-tier coaches, Fourteen Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum disabled coaches and a Pantry Car.
