General Second Class Coaches for Selected Trains in SCR

 

In a move to enhance travel convenience for unreserved passengers, Indian Railways has decided to augment the following trains with additional General Second Class coaches. The augmentation details are as follows:

Passengers are advised to take note of the revised coach composition. The additional General Second Class coaches will help accommodate more unreserved passengers and ensure smoother travel during peak demand.

Permanent Augmentation of Additional Chair Car Coaches to Six Express Trains

South Central Railway will augment the following Express Trains by attaching additional Chair Car Coaches o­n permanent basis as per the details mentioned below:-

1.Train No. 12713 / 12714 Vijayawada-Secunderabad-Vijayawada Satavahana Express will be permanently augmented with two additional Chair Car Coaches from 30^thJuly, 2016 Ex. Vijayawada and Secunderabad.

2. Train No. 17405 / 17406 Tirupati-Adilabad-Tirupati Krishna Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne additional Chair Car Coach from 28^th July, 2016 Ex. Tirupati and from 29^th July Ex. Adilabad.

3.Train No. 17409 / 17410 Adilabad-Nanded-Adilabad Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne additional Chair Car Coach from 29^th July, 2016 Ex. Adilabad and Nanded.

Permanent Augmentation of Additional AC Coaches to Several Express Trains

South Central Railway will augment the following Express Trains by attaching  one additional AC Coach replacing a Sleeper Class Coach on permanent basis as per the details mentioned below:-

1.Train No. 12710 / 12709 Secunderabad-Gudur- Secunderabad Simhapuri Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC II Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 16^th November, 2016 Ex. Secunderabad and from 17^th November, 2016 Ex.Gudur. Also the First AC cum Two Tier coach will be replaced with First AC coach with effect from 23^rdJuly, 2016.

2.Train No. 17058 / 17057 Secunderabad-Mumbai CST- Secunderabad Devagiri Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC II Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 18^th November, 2016 Ex. Secunderabad and from 19^th November, 2016 Ex. Mumbai CST. Also the First AC cum Two Tier coach will be replaced with First AC coach with effect from 25^thJuly, 2016.

3.Train No. 17005 / 17006 Hyderabad-Raxaul-Hyderabad Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 17^th November, 2016 Ex. Hyderabad and from 20^thNovember, 2016 Ex. Raxaul.

4.Train No. 17020 / 17019 Hyderabad-Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 19^th November, 2016 Ex. Hyderabad and from 22^ndNovember, 2016 Ex. Ajmer.

5.Train No. 12720 / 12719 Hyderabad-Ajmer-Hyderabad Superfast Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 16^th November, 2016 Ex. Hyderabad and from 18^thNovember, 2016 Ex. Ajmer.

6.   Train No. 12715 / 12716 H.S.Nanded-Amritsar-H.S.Nanded Sachkhand Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 15^th November, 2016 Ex. H.S.Nanded and from 17^thNovember, 2016 Ex. Amritsar.

7.Train No. 17037 / 17038 Secunderabad-Bikaner- Secunderabad Bi-Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 15^th November, 2016 Ex. Secunderabad and from 18^th November, 2016 Ex.Bikaner.

8.Train No. 17018 / 17017 Secunderabad-Rajkot- Secunderabad Tri-Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 15^th November, 2016 Ex. Secunderabad and from 17^th November, 2016 Ex.Rajkot.

9.     Train No. 17002 / 17001 Secunderabad-Sainagar Shirdi-Secunderabad Express (will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 18^th November, 2016 Ex. Secunderabad o­n Fridays and from 19^th November, 2016 Ex. Sainagar Shirdi o­n Saturdays.

10.Train No. 17204 / 17203 Kakinada Port-Bhavnagar- Kakinada Port Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 17^th November, 2016 Ex. Kakinada Port and from 19^th November, 2016 Ex.Bhavnagar. 

11. Train No. 17205 / 17206 Kakinada Port-Sainagar Shirdi- Kakinada Port Tri-Weekly Express will be permanently augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach replacing o­ne Sleeper Class Coach from 16^thNovember, 2016 Ex. Kakinada Port and from 17^th November, 2016 Ex.Sainagar Shirdi.

Change in Coach Composition of Six Express Trains

South Central Railway will change the Coach Composition of Six Express Trains o­n permanent basis as per the details mentioned below:-

1.    Train No. 12738 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town Gautami Express will be augmented with o­ne AC First Class Cum AC II Tier Coach in place of Sleeper Class Coach o­n permanent basis from 20^th July, 2016.

2.  Train No. 12737 Kakinada Town - Secunderabad Gautami Express will be augmented with o­ne AC First Class Cum AC II Tier Coach in place of Sleeper Class Coach o­n permanent basis from 21^st July, 2016.

3. Train No. 17209 Kakinada Town - Bangalore Seshadri Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach o­n permanent basis from 1^st August, 2016.

4. Train No. 17210 Bangalore – Kakinada Town Seshadri Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach o­n permanent basis from 4^th August, 2016.

5. Train No. 17235 Bangalore – Nagercoil Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach o­n permanent basis from 2^nd August, 2016.

6. Train No. 17236 Nagercoil - Bangalore Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier Coach o­n permanent basis from 3^rd August, 2016.

RAILWAYS AUGMENT 03 PAIRS OF TRAINS WITH ADDITIONAL COACHES PERMANENTLY

Northeast Frontier Railway(NFR)has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12551/12552 Yesvantpur-Kamakhya-Yesvantpur Air-conditioned Weekly Express with One additional AC 2-tier coach with effect from Kamakhya end with effect from 03^rd Feb. 2016 and from Yesvantpur end from 06^th Feb. 2016.

The revised composition of the Train has total 19 coaches (earlier 18 coaches), comprising of One First Class AC coach, Four AC 2-tier coaches, Eleven AC 3-tier coaches, Two luggage-cum-brake vans with Power Cars and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

East Central Railway(ECR)has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12295/12296 Bengaluru City-Pataliputra-Bengaluru Sangamitra Express with One additional AC 3-tier coach with effect from Bengaluru City end from 05^th Feb. 2016 and from Pataliputra end from 07^th Feb. 2016.

The revised composition of the Train has total 24 coaches (earlier 23 coaches), comprising of Three AC 2-tier coaches, Four AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Three General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum disabled coaches and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.

North Western Railway(NWR) has advised permanent augmentation of Train Nos. 12976/12975 Jaipur-Mysuru-Jaipur Express with One additional Second Class Sleeper coach with effect from Jaipur end from 25^th Nov. 2015 and from Mysuru end from 28^th Nov. 2015.

The revised composition of the Train has total 24 coaches (earlier 23 coaches), comprising of One First Class AC-cum-AC 2-tier coach, Two AC 2-tier coaches, Five AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Two General Second Class coaches, Two General Second Class luggage-cum-brake vans-cum-disabled coaches and a Pantry Car, from the above mentioned dates.
