Flags Off New Weekly Express between Bidar - CSMT

Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bidar flagged off Bidar – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) New Weekly Express Train today i.e., 14th June, 2018 at a function held at Bidar Railway Station in the presence of Shri Raghunath Rao Malkapur, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council, Bidar & other dignitaries. Shri Shailender Singh, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior railway officials were also present o­n the occasion.


This is the first direct connectivity from Bidar to historical city of Kolhapur and Pandharpur, the holy abode of Lord Vitthal.
This Inaugural special, Train No. 01417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) flagged off today i.e., o­n 14thJune, 2018 will arrive Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, this Inaugural Special will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.
Bidar Railway station o­n Vikarabad - Parli Vaijanath section is o­ne of the most important station over Secunderabad Division, handling about 7000 passengers (both outward & inward) daily. The average originating passenger earnings of this station is Rs 4.60 lakhs per day. o­n an average, this station handles 20 trains per day (4 Daily express trains, 8 Non-daily express trains, 4 daily Passenger trains and 4 non-daily passenger trains).
Regular Service:-
The regular services will commence Ex. Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) with effect from 20thJune, 2018 and Ex. Bidar with effect from 21st June, 2018.
 Train No. 11416 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) - Bidar Inaugural Special Train will depart Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 23.25 hrs o­n Wednesdays (20th June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Bidar at 10.15 hrs o­n the next day i.e., Thursdays.
             Train No. 11417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) Inaugural Special Train will depart Bidar at 11.45 hrs o­n Thursdays (21st June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs (early hours) o­n the next day i.e., Fridays.
Enroute, this train will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.           
These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Introduction of New Weekly Express between Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Bidar


 Ministry of Railways has announced introduction of a new weekly express train service between Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur). The regular service will commence Ex. Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) with effect from 20thJune, 2018 and Ex. Bidar with effect from 21st June, 2018.
The inaugural special train service from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) will be flagged off by Shri Dhananjay Bhimrao Mahadik, Hon’ble Member of Parliament o­n 13thJune, 2018.
Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Hon’ble Member of Parliament will flag off Bidar – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) o­n 14thJune, 2018. The details of inaugural special and regular train services are given below:-
Inaugural Service:-
            Train No. 01416 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) - Bidar Inaugural Special Train will depart Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 23.25 hrs o­n 13thJune, 2018 and arrive Bidar at 10.15 hrs o­n the next day.
            Train No. 01417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) Inaugural Special Train will depart Bidar at 12.30 hrs o­n 14th June, 2018 and arrive Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs o­n the next day.

Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways Launches various Rail Infra Developmental Works

Giving a sizeable boost to better passenger convenience,Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways launched various rail infra developmental works today i.e. 29th December, 2016 at a function held at Rail Bhavan, New Delhi and simultaneously at Secunderabad and Lingampet Jagityal Railway stations. The works which were launched are -
·Commissioning of 500 kWp Grid Connected Solar System at Secunderabad Railway station.
·Commissioning of LED based lighting at MMTS stations in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
·Inauguration of renovated MMTS Booking office o­n Platform No.6/7 at Secunderabad station.
·Inauguration additional Foot over Bridge at Hyderabad Station via remote video link.
·Launch of Hi-speed Wi-Fi at Secunderabad and Hyderabad stations.
·Flagging off extension of Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal DEMU service upto Morthad.
Addressing the gathering at all the three places from New Delhi o­n the occasion, Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu acknowledged the cooperation being extended by the Telangana State Government towards developing Railway network in the State.The Railways is looking forward to use the potential of the State by signing a JV for jointly developing Railway projects in Telangana, towards which the State Government too is forthcoming, he added. Focusing o­n Safety of the Rail services as the foremost priority, the Railway Minister stated that a Safety plan is made to address the inadequacies which are inherited as a bad legacy. Indian Railways is sure to become the preferred mode of transportation in the future, he stressed.
Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Hon’ble Minister of State for Labour and Employment (Independent Charge), Govt. of India who was present at New Delhi stated that in the last two years, the rail projects have been given due attention and funds allocated for completion. He stated that the completion of Nizamabad-Karimnagar-Peddapalli Railway line will provide excellent Rail connectivity in the State. He also opined that the MMTS Phase-II project in progress will help in enhancing civic infra to suburban places around the twin cities such as Medchal and Bhongir. Smt K.Kavitha, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Nizamabadalso spoke at the function at New Delhi.
Earlier, Shri Vasishta Johri, General Manager, South Central Railway in his welcome address highlighted the salient benefits of the various Rail initiatives launched and stated that the Zone is committed to serve the people to the best.
Shri Naini Narsimha Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Prisons, Fire Services, Sainik Welfare, Labour & Employment,Telangana; Shri Mohd. Ali Khan, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha) and Shri P.Mahender Reddy, Hon’ble Minister for Transport, Telangana also spoke o­n the occasion at Secunderabad. Shri T. Padma Rao Goud, Hon’ble Minister for Excise & Prohibition, Sports and Youth Services, Telangana and Shri Bonthu Rammohan, Hon’ble Mayor were also present.

Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU Train Services to be extended upto Morthad

The Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU Train services (Tr.No.77260/77259)will be extended to run up to Morthad.Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways will flag off the inaugural service of the extended Lingampet Jagityal- Morthad DEMU Train o­n 29th December, 2016 at Secunderabad (via remote video link)

The regular services of Tr.Nos.77260/77259 Karimnagar-Morthad-Karimnagar DEMU services will commence from31st December, 2016 ex. Lingampet Jagityal and from 1st Jan 2017 ex. Morthad. The Schedule details of the trains are as follows:


Inaugural Train Services:


Inaugural run of Tr.No.07260 Lingampet Jagityal- Mortad DEMU Train:

Train No. 07260 Lingampet Jagityal- Morthad DEMU servicewill depart Lingampet Jagityal at 12.45 hrs o­n 29th December, 2016 (Thursday) and arrive Morthad at 14.45hrs the same day.



Regular Train Services:


Train No. 77260/77259 Karimnagar-Morthad-Karimnagar DEMU (Five days in a week)


With effect from 31st December, 2016, Tr.No.77260 Karimnagar-Morthad DEMU service will depart Karimnagar at 14.35hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 16:30hrs. In the extended portion, the train will depart Lingampet Jagityal at 16:35hrs, Medipalli Halt at 16:51hrs, Korutla at 17:12hrs, Metpalli at 17:28hrs and arrive Morthad at 18.30hrs. The train will run o­n Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

In the opposite direction, with effect from 01st January, 2017 Train No. 77259 Morthad - Karimnagar DEMU service will depart Morthad at 04:00hrs, Metpalli at 04:33hrs, Korutla at 04:49hrs, Medipalli Halt at 05:10hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 05.45hrs. Thereafter, the train will depart Lingampet Jagityal at 05.50hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 07.30hrs. The train will run o­n Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.


Enroute , between Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal, the train will stop at Kothapalli Halt, Gangadhara, Poduru and Nookapalli Mallial in both directions as at present.

Train No. 77274/77273 Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU (Two days in a week)

Train No. 77274 Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal DEMU service will depart Karimnagar at 14.35hrs o­n Tuesdays and Fridays, depart Kothapalli Halt at 14.51hrs, Gangadhara at 15.20hrs, Poduru at 15.41hrs,Nookapalli Mallial at 16.01hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 16.30hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 77273 Lingampet Jagityal- Karimnagar DEMU service will depart Lingampet at 05.45hrs o­n Wednesdays and Saturdays, depart Nookapalli Mallial at 06.20hrs, Poduru at 06.41hrs, Gangadhara at 06.56hrs, Kothapalli at 07.16hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 07.30hrs.

Introduction of Tirupati-Vasco da gama-Tirupati Express and Hyderabad-Vasco da gama-Hyderabad Express


Railway has decided to introduce Train No. 17419/17420, Tirupati-Vasco da gama-Tirupati Weekly Express and Train No. 17021/17022, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama- HyderabadWeekly Express.
Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways will flag off the Tirupati-Vasco da gama train service o­n 29th December, 2016 at Tirupati.

The inaugural special between Tirupati-Vasco da gama will be leaving Tirupati at 17:10 hours o­n 29th December, 2016 asTrain No. 07419, Tirupati-Vasco da gama Express. The special between Hyderabad-Vasco da gama will be leaving Hyderabad at 15:00 hours o­n 29th December, 2016 as T.No. 07021, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama Express. Both train will be amalgamated at Guntakal and will run as o­ne train as 07419 which arrives at Vasco da gama at 12:15 hours the next day.

The special train from Vasco da gama to Tirupati/Hyderabad express will leave Vasco da gama at 16:00 hours o­n 30th December,2016 as train No. 07420 and arrives at Guntakal at 04:30 hours next day.From Guntakal, the train will be bifurcated as T.No. 07420, Vasco-da-gama-Tirupati Express and T.No. 07022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express. The T.No. 07420, Vasco-da-gama-Tirupati Express special willdepart Guntakal at 05:40 hours and reaches Tirupati at 10:30 hours. The T.No. 07022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express departs Guntakal at 05:00 hours and reaches Hyderabad at 13:45 hours.

The regular service of Train No. 17419, Tirupati -Vasco da gama Weekly Express and Train No. 17021, Hyderabad-Vasco da gama Weekly Expresswill commence with effect from 05thJanuary, 2017, Thursday. Both train will be amalgamated at Guntakal and will run as o­ne train.

The regular service of Train No. 17420,Vasco da gama-Tirupati Weekly Express will commence with effect from 06thJanuary, 2017, Friday. The train will be bifurcated at Guntakal as Train No.17420, which will reach Tirupati and Train No.17022 which will reach Hyderabad.

Train No. 17419, Tirupati-Vasco da gama Express departs Tirupati at 11:30 hours o­n every Thursday with effect from 05th January, 2017 and arrives Vasco da gama at 06:00 hours the next day.In the return direction Train No.17420, Vasco da gama – Tirupati Express will depart Vasco da gama at 09:00 hours o­n every Friday and reaches Tirupati at 04:00 hours the next day.Enroute, the train has stoppages atRenigunta, Koduru, Razampet, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Muddanuru, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Ballari, Thoranagallu, Hosapete, Munirabad, Koppal, Gadag, Annigeri, Hubballi, Dharwad Alnavar, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem(Curchorem), Madgaon in both directions.

Train No. 17021, Hyderabad- Vasco da gama Express departs Hyderabad at 09:20 hours o­n every Thursday with effect from 05th January, 2017 and reaches Vasco da gama at 06:00 hours the next day.In the return direction, Train No. 17022, Vasco da gama- Hyderabad Express departs Vasco da gama at 09:00 hours o­n every Friday with effect from 06thJanuary, 2017 and reaches Hyderabad at 07:40 hours o­n the next day. Enroute, the train has stoppages at Secunderabad, Kacheguda, Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool City, Dhone, Guntakal, Ballari, Thoranagallu, Hosapete, Munirabad, Koppal, Gadag, Annigeri, Hubballi, Dharwad Alnavar, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem(Curchorem), Madgaon in both directions.

The train composition of Tirupati- Vasco da gama Weekly Express will have 10 coaches comprising of o­nE AC 2-Tier Coach, o­nE AC 3-Tier Coach, THREE Sleeper Coaches, THREE General Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches.

The train composition of Hyderabad - Vasco da gama Weekly Express will have 10 coaches comprising of o­nE AC 2-Tier Coach, o­nE AC 3-Tier Coach, THREE Sleeper Coaches, THREE General Second Class Coaches and TWO Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW WEEKLY TRAIN TADOBA EXPRESS



Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce ‘Tadoba Express’ a new weekly express train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kazipet and a new Daily Intercity Express train between Gulbarga and Hyderabad for the benefit of passengers. The details of regular service of the train are as under :
(A) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS – KAZIPET TADOBA WEEKLY EXPRESS

TrainNo. 11083 Weekly Express will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.30 hrs o­n every Friday from 12.8.2016 and arrive Kazipet at 15.00 hrs next day.
TrainNo. 11084 Weekly Expresswill leave Kazipet at 17.45 hrs o­n every Saturday from 13.8.2016 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.15 hrs next day.
HALTS: Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Manmad, Nagarsol, Lasur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Purna Jn., Hazur Sahib Nanded, Mudkhed, Bhokar, Himayat Nagar (Deccan), Kinwat, Adilabad, Pimpalkutti, Wani, Majri Khadan, Chandrapur,  Ballarshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Bellampalli, Manchiryal, Ramgundam, Peddapalli and Jammikunta.
COMPOSITION: One AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

* The inaugural special train 01183 will be flagged off remotely by Hon’ble Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhu from Secunderabad. The inaugural special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 08.00 hrs o­n 8.8.2016 and arrive Kazipet at 12.25 hrs next day. In return special train 01184 will leave Kazipet at 17.45 hrs o­n 9.8.2016 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.15 hrs next day.

RESERVATION: The bookings for inaugural special 01183 o­n special charges already open. The bookings for regular service of 11083 will commence from 8.8.2016 at all PRS centers and through Internet.
  
(B) GULBARGA – HYDERABAD DAILY INTERCITY EXPRESS

TrainNo. 11307 Daily Intercity Express will leave Gulbarga at 10.15 hrs daily w.e.f. 9.8.2016 and arrive Hyderabad at 14.50 hrs same day.
TrainNo. 11308 Daily Intercity Expresswill leave Hyderabad at 16.00 hrs daily w.e.f. 8.8.2016 and arrive Gulbarga at 21.00 hrs same day.
HALTS: Shahabad, Wadi Jn., Tandur, Vikarabad and Lingampalli.
COMPOSITION: One AC chair car, 10 Second class seating, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

* The inaugural special train 01311 will be flagged off remotely by Hon’ble Minister of Railways Shri Suresh Prabhu from Secunderabad. The inaugural special will leave Gulbarga at 08.00 hrs o­n 8.8.2016 and arrive Hyderabad at 13.35 hrs same day..

RESERVATION: Bookings for inaugural special 01311 o­n special charges already open. The bookings for regular service of 11307 will commence from 7.8.2016 at all PRS centers and through Internet.
