Mumbai-Visakhapatnam Superfast Express to run with LHB coaches

 Railways have decided to replace conventional rake of LTT- Visakhapatnam Superfast Express with LHB coaches.  

Train No.22847 from Visakhapatnam will run with LHB coaches with effect from 9.10.2022  

Train No.22848 from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus will run with LHB coaches with effect from 11.10.2022.

 

Revised composition:  One AC-2 Tier, 4 AC-3 Tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class including o­ne Guard's Brake Van and o­ne Generator Van.

Waiting list passengers are requested to check the status of their PNR status before boarding the train.

 Change in Timings of Ernakulam – Hazarat Nizamuddin Special

Railways have decided to revise the arrival and departure timings of Train No. 02617 Ernakulam – Hazarat Nizamuddin special at Panvel and Kalyan station with effect from 30.5.2021 as under -   

Train No. 02617 Ernakulam – Hazarat Nizamuddin special will arrive / depart at Panvel station at 12.20/ 12.25 hrs (instead of existing 12.35 / 12.40 hrs) and at Kalyan station at 13.27/ 13.30 hrs (instead of existing 13.42/13.45 hrs) 

Passengers are requested to kindly note the revised timings and act accordingly.

Mega Block on 30.5.2021

 Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n 30.5.2021.

Matunga - Mulund Up and Dn Slow Lines From 11.00 am To 4.00 pm Dn slow line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.14 am to 3.36 pm will be diverted o­n Dn fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations and will halt at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli and Bhandup stations. Further will be re-diverted o­n proper slow line at Mulund station.

Up Slow line services leaving Thane from 10.27 am to 3.55 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Mulund and Matunga and will halt at Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations. Further will be re-diverted o­n proper Up slow line at Matunga.

Kurla-Vashi Up & Dn Harbour lines from 11.10 am to 4.10 pm Dn Harbour line services to Vashi /Belapur/Panvel leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.34 am to 3.39 pm and Up Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.21 am to 3.41 pm will remain cancelled.

However, Special services will run between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - Kurla & Vashi - Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Main Line and Trans Harbour line from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm

These maintenance mega blocks are essential for infrastructure upkeep and safety. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS – MANGALORE CENTRAL SPECIAL TRAIN o­n SPECIAL CHARGES

Railways have decided to run a special train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Mangalore Central to clear the extra rush of passengers during Sabarimala Festival as per details given below.

Train No.06075 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 01.10 hrs o­n 01.01.2017  and will arrive Mangalore Central at 19.15 hrs same day.

HALTS: Thane, Panvel, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Karmali, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi and  Mulki

COMPOSITION: 12 Sleeper class, 6 General second class and 2 General Second class cum Guard’s break van.

(6 General second class and 2 General second class cum Guard’s Brake Vans will run as unreserved coaches with normal charges applicable for Mail/Express trains).

6 AC WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN PUNE AND AJMER. BOOKINGS OPEN ON 31.12.2106

Railways have decided to run 6 AC weekly special trains between Pune and Ajmer  to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

Train No. 01319 AC weekly  special (3 trips) will leave Pune at 00.25 hrs o­n 3.1.2017, 10.1.2017 & 17.1.2017 ( Tuesdays ) and will arrive Ajmer at 23.30 hrs  same day.

Train No. 01320 AC weekly  special (3 trips) will leave Ajmer at 05.55 hrs o­n 4.1.2017, 11.1.2017 & 18.1.2017 ( Wednesdays ) and will arrive Pune at 05.00 hrs  next day.

HALTS: Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara Jn, Godhra(halt o­nly for 01319) , Ratlam, Nimach, Chittaurgarh Jn, Bhilwara, Bijainagar and Nasirabad.

EXTENSION OF AC SUPERFAST SPECIALS BETWEEN LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS – LUCKNOW & NAGPUR – AMRITSAR / PUNE

Central Railway has decided to extend the run of following weekly AC Superfast special trains o­n the same timings & halts to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer rush. The details are as under:-

(A) Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Lucknow AC Superfast Weekly Specials (6)

Train No 02107 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.20 hrs o­n every Saturday from 6.8.2016 to 20.8.2016 (3 trips) and arrive Lucknow at 13.45 hrs next day.

Train No 02108 special will leave Lucknow at 16.20 hrs o­n every Sunday from 7.8.2016 to 21.8.2016 (3 trips) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.30 hrs next day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Habibganj, Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur

Central Railways have decided to run Air-conditioned Superfast weekly special trains o­n special charges between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Santragachi and Pune - Santragachi to clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali festival. The details are as under:

(A) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS – SANTRAGACHI – LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS AC SUPERFAST WEEKLY SPECIALS (4)

Train No 02859 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.20 hrs o­n Saturday 29.10.2016 & 5.11.2016 (2 trips) and arrive Santragachi at 18.15 hrs next day.

Train No 02860 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Santragachi at 18.30 hrs o­n Thursday 27.10.2016 & 3.11.2016 (2 trips) and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Teminus at 23.45 hrs next day.
