Flagging off of Trains at Hubli Railway Station

The long pending demands from public to start Hubli-Belgaum-Hubli Fast passenger train and Hubli-Lokamanya tilak Terminus(Mumbai)-Hubli (via Gadag, Solapur) have been fulfilled by flagging off these two trains jointly by Shri Pralhad Joshi and Shri Suresh Angadi, Hon’ble Members of Parliament of Dharwad & Belgaum at Hubli Railway Station today (01^st Nov.2014 ) on the occasion of Rajyotsava Day in presence of Shri Sanjeev Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager of Hubli Division, other Officers and staff of South Western Railway and general Public.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Dharwad) expressed his happiness in introducing these trains on Kannada Rajyotsava Day and wished all the people of Karnataka on the occasion of Rajyotsava Day. He said one more train towards Mumbai from Hubli has to be introduced as announced in the Interim Railway Budget-2014-15 for which he suggested to the railway administration to run the train leaving Hubli in the afternoon and reaching Mumbai in the next day morning. He also suggested to Divisional Railway Manager, Hubli Division to name the train as “Siddharudha Express”. Regarding the long pending project of Hubli-Ankola new Railway Line, he said that MPs of Karnataka will have a meeting in November-December this year, with Environment Ministry.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Suresh Angadi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Belgaum) said that they will put their efforts to name the Hubballi-Lokamanya tilak Terminus Express as Siddharudha Express by discussing the matter with the Railway Ministry. He also suggested to Shri Sanjeev Mittal, Divisional Railway Manager of Hubli Division to maintain cleanliness not only in stations but also in trains as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan call given by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.

The details of REGULAR SERVICE TRAIN TIMINGS are as follows :--

I. Train No.56921 HUBLI-BELGAUM FAST PASSENGER will depart at HUBLI at 18-00 hrs and arrive BELGAUM at 21-30 hrs. on the same day, with effect from 02^nd Nov.2014.

Enroute, the Fast Passenger arrives/departs at Dharwad at 18-18/18-20 hrs; Mugad at 18-29/18-30 hrs; Alnavar at 18-48/18-50 hrs; Tavaragatti at 19-09/19-10 hrs; Devarayi at19-24/19-25 hrs; Londa at 19-43/19-45 hrs; Khanapur at 20-29/20-30 hrs. and arrives/departs at Desur at 20-49/20-50 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 56922 BELGAUM-HUBLI FAST PASSENGER will depart at BELGAUM at 06-00 hrs. and arrive at HUBLI at 09-50 hrs. on the same day, with effect from02^nd November, 2014.

En route, the Fast Passenger arrives/departs at Desur at 06-09/06-10 hrs;Khanapur at 06-24/06-25 hrs; Londa at 06-58/07-00 hrs; Devarayi at 07-29/07-30 hrs; Tavaragatti at 07-44/07-45 hrs; Alnavar at 07-53/07-55 hrs; andMugad at 08-24/08-25 hrs; and arrives/departs at Dharwad at 08-48/08-50 hrs.

The Fast Passenger will have total 11 coaches, consisting of One Second Class Sleeper coach, Eight General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake Vans.

II. Train No.17321 HUBLI-LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at HUBLI at 22-30 hrs on Saturdays, with effect from 08^th November, 2014and arrive LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS at 16-55 hrs. on Sundays.

En route, the Weekly Express arrives/departs at Gadag at 23-35/23-40 hrs; Badami at 00-58/01-00 hrs.(Sunday); Bagalkot at 01-23/01-25 hrs; Almatti at 02-08/02-10 hrs; Bijapur at 03-45/03-50 hrs; depart at Hotgi at 06-15 hrs; Solapur at 06-40/06-50 hrs.; Daund at 10-00/10-05 hrs; Pune at 11-50/12-00 hrs; Panvel at 15-20/15-25 hrs; and arrives/departs at Thane at 16-17/16-20 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 17322 LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-HUBLI WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS at 21-15 hrs. on Sundays, with effect from 02^nd November, 2014 and arrive at HUBLI at 17-35 hrs. on Mondays.

En route, the Weekly Express arrives/departs at Thane at 21-37/21-40 hrs; Panvel at 22-20/22-25 hrs;Puneat01-40/02-00 hrs(Monday); Daund at 03-23/03-28 hrs; Solapur at 08-35/08-40 hrs; depart at Hotgi at 09-30 hrs; arrives/departs at Bijapur at11-25/11-30 hrs; Almatti at 12-48/12-50 hrs; Bagalkot at 13-30/13-32 hrs; Badami at 13-55/13-57 hrs; and arrives/departs at Gadag at 15-40/15-50 hrs.

The Weekly Express will have total 16 coaches, consisting of One AC 2-tier coach, One AC 3-tier coach, Six Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class luggage-cum-brake Vans.
