Temporary Stoppage to Four Trains for “Irumudi/Thaipaoosam” festival at Melmaruvathur

With a view to facilitate passengers / pilgrims attending Irumudi/Thaipaoosam festival at Melmaruvathur station o­n Southern Railway four Express trains are provided temporary stoppage at Melmaruvathur Station to the following trains from 14^th December, 2016 to 9^th February, 2017:-

1. Train No. 18496 Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram Weekly Express will arrive / depart Melmaruvathur at 10:14/10:15 hrs from 16^th December, 2016 to 3^rd February, 2017.

2. Train No. 18495 Rameswaram-Bhubaneswar Weekly Express will arrive / depart Melmaruvathur at 19:54/19:55 hrs from 18^th December, 2016 to 5^th February, 2017.

3. Train No. 15120 Manduadih-Rameswaram Weekly Express will arrive / depart Melmaruvathur at 12:14/12:15 hrs from 18^th December, 2016 to 5^th February, 2017.

4. Train No. 15119 Rameswaram-Manduadih Weekly Express will arrive / depart Melmaruvathur at 10:49/10:50 hrs from 14^th December, 2016 to 8^th February, 2017.

18 Special Trains between Tirupati and Nagarsol during Dussehra & Diwali Festival Season

Dussehra and Diwali Festive Special Trains between Tirupati and Nagarsol

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Dussehra and Diwali festival season, eighteen special trains will be run between Tirupati and Nagarsol via., Secunderabad as detailed below:-            

Train No 07417 Tirupati – Nagarsol Special Train will depart Tirupati at 07:30 hrs o­n 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th September, 7^th, 14^th, 21^st, 28^th October, 4^th and 11^th November, 2016 (Friday) arrive/depart Secunderabad at 20:15/20:25 hrs o­n the same day and arrive Nagarsol at 11.55hrs o­n the next day.  

In the return direction, Train No.07418 Nagarsol - Tirupati Special Train will depart Nagarsol at 22:00 hrs o­n 17^th, 24^th September, 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th October, 5^th and 12^th November, 2016 (Saturday), arrive/depart Secunderabad at 11:55/12:05 hrs o­n the next day and arrive Tirupati at 04:00 hrs o­n Mondays. 

Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalguda, Nalgonda, Cherlapalli, Begumpet, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Zahirabad, Bidar, Bhalki, Udgir, Latur Road, Pangaon, Parli, Gangakher, Parbhani, Manavat Road, Selu, Partur, Jalna and Aurangabad stations in both directions.

These special trains will consist of 19 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Second class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Train No.02839 / 02840 Howrah – Chennai Central – Howrah AC Superfast Suvidha Special (14 Services)

Train No. 02839 Howrah – Chennai Weekly Special Train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs on 13^th, 20^th , 27^th October and 3^rd , 10^th, 17^th & 24^th November, 2015 (Tuesdays) and arrive Chennai at 14:50 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02840 Chennai - Howrah Puja Weekly Special Train will depart Chennai at 17:10 hrs o­n 14^th, 21^st, 28^th October and 4^th, 11^th, 18^th, and 25^th  November, 2015 (Wednesdays) and arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneshwar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and  Nellore stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, four AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier Class Coaches.
