JUMBO BLOCK ON UP LOCAL LINE BETWEEN SANTACRUZ AND MAHALAXMI STATIONS ON SUNDAY 12TH OCTOBER, 2014

To carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipments, five hours jumbo block will be taken between Santacruz and Mahalaxmi stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday i.e 12^th October, 2014 o­n Up Local line i.e slow line.

During the block period, all Up slow trains will run o­n Up through (i.e. fast) line between Santacruz and Mahalaxmi stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel & Mahalaxmi for want of platform, hence passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandra & Mumbai Central stations. All 12 car slow trains will take double halt at Khar Road and Mahim Jn. Level Crossing Gate No.19 will remain closed for road traffic during block period.

Due to the block, some local trains will remain cancelled, the list of which will be available at all stations.
