Normalcy Restored in Train Services on South Central Railway

Regular train services, especially towards Visakhapatnam which have been affected due to cyclone ‘Hudhud’ and the resultant breaches to track in Vijayawada Division, have been normalized on South Central Railway. Almost all the train services originating on SCR towards Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneshwar have been operated normally today. Long distance express trains towards destinations in Eastern part (Bhubaneshwar, Howrah and beyond), passing through SCR have been run on their scheduled normal route only i.e. via Visakhapatnam.

However, in view of some of the diverted trains running late and the dislocation that occurred in the last few days, some express trains may be run to rescheduled timings as per need.
