Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Organises Special Tours ‘Swamy Saranam’, ‘Pearl of the Orient (Goa)’ and ‘Golden Triangle of Odisha’

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) have introduced special package tours to ‘Pearl of the Orient (Goa)’ o­n 19^th November 2014 and to ‘Golden Triangle of Odisha’ o­n 29^th November 2014.

The package tours include confirmed reservation in trains, hotel accommodation and road transport with guide. The tours offer a very convenient and comfortable option for the pilgrim traffic, particularly benefiting a hassle free travel to pilgrim/sightseeing destinations. Yet another attraction is a discount of 5% being given by IRCTC o­n counter bookings for Goa and Odisha packages. The schedule of the tour packages is as follows:-

The four nights / five days ‘Swamy Saranam’ Tour (Comfort and Standard category) which will be operated daily from 15^th November 2014 to 20^thJanuary 2015 from Secunderabad will cost Rs. 6698/- and Rs. 4178/- per person for Comfort and Standard categories respectively. Visiting sites include Vaikom, Kaduthuruthy & Ettumannor Temples, Sabarimalai Ayyappa Darshan & Abhishekham, Village back-water cruise etc. Andhra food is included in off board service.

The five nights / six days ‘Pearl of the Orient Goa’ Tour (Standard category) which starts o­n 19^thNovember 2014 from Secunderabad will cost Rs. 10699/- o­nwards. Visiting sites include River Mandovi Cruise, Panaji Handicrafts Emporium, Mapusa Town, Shrisapta Koteshwar Mandir at Narve, Mayem Lake, Vagator, Anjuna, Calangute, Fort Aguada, Basilica of Born Jesus, Se Cathedral, Temples of Shri Manguesh & Shri Shantadurga, Ancestral Goa-Loutlim, Magao, Colva, Mormugao, Dona Paula Bay and Miramar.

The six nights / seven days ‘Golden Triangle of Odisha’ Tour (Standard category) which starts o­n 29^thNovember 2014 from Secunderabad will cost Rs. 9675/- o­nwards. Visiting sites include Puri Jagannath Temple, Chilika Lake, Dhauli Stupa, Lingaraj Temple, Rajarani Temple, Pipli, Raghurajpur, Konark The Sun Temple and Chandrabhaga Beach.

Government employees can avail these packages under LTC.
