ECoR TO OPEN PRS COUNTER TILL 2200HRS ON SUNDAY:

CYCLONE HUD HUD: PRESS RELEASE NO. 04

In view of Cancellation & diversion of trains due to cyclone, East Coast Railway has made special arrangement for opening of Passenger Reservation System (PRS) Counters till 2200hrs (10.00P.M.) instead of 1400hrs (02.00P.M.) o­n 12^thOctober 2014 (Sunday) at important Stations in order to help the passengers in getting refund.

Additional Enquiry Counters have also been opened at Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur and Puri Stations for the benefit of the passengers.

In addition to information in previous Press Releases o­n cancellation & diversion of trains, the following trains will also be cancelled and diverted in view of cyclone and safety of the passengers.

CANCELLATION:

Railways have cancelled 18402 Okha-Puri Express scheduled to leave Okha o­n 15^thOctober 2014 due to unavailablity of rake for cancellation of 18401 Puri-Okha Express from Puri o­n 12^th October 2014

DIVERSION:

22612 New Jalpaiguri-Chennai Express left New Jalpaiguri o­n 10^thOctober 2014 and 22614 Haldia-Chennai Express scheduled to leave Haldia o­n 11^thOctober 2014 will be diverted via Khurda Road-Barang-Angul-Titilagarh-Lakholi-Nagpur and Ballarshah.
