Smt Rachna Agarwal, Vice-President of South Central
Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (SCRWWO) inaugurated a renovated Akshaya
Canteen at Central Hospital, Lallaguda, Secunderabad today i.e. 6thFebruary,
2015. Smt Madhulika Singh, Secretary, Smt Afshan Kabir, Treasurer and
other committee members of SCRWWO were present. Smt Rachna Agarwal advised the
canteen staff to maintain hygiene and provide quality food at affordable price
for the benefit of railway employees.
Akshaya Canteen being run under the patronage of SCRWWO is providing subsidised food items for the benefit of railway employees coming from various
parts of the Zone to Central Hospital for treatment and their attendants. The
present canteen has been renovated at a cost of Rs 10 lakhs. Eating lounge has
been laid with marble flooring and is remodelled to suit to present needs.
Kitchen area too is modified and fitted with granite cladding for proper
cleanliness. False ceiling, LED light fittings for better illumination was also
done.
