Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, SCR Conducts Annual Inspection of Dhone-Mahbubnagar Section of Hyderabad Division

Shri P.K. Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway, undertook annual inspection of Dhone-Mahbubnagar section o­n Hyderabad Division of SCR today i.e., 10^th February, 2015.

Shri D.K. Singh, Commissioner Railway Safety, Shri Rakesh Aron, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, Shri S.P.Sahu, Chief Safety Officer, Shri S.N. Singh, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri J.N. Jah, Chief Operations Manager,  Shri G. Laxshminarayan, Chief Commercial Manager, Shri Mahaboob Ali, Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer, Shri Kabeer Ahmad, Chief Mechanical Engineer, Shri Solan Gupta, Chief Electrical Service Engineer and other officials  accompanied the General Manager during the inspection.

Shri P.K. Srivastava inspected Passenger amenities, circulating area and developmental works in progress at Kurnool City, Gadwal and Mahbubnagar railway stations. A thorough inspection of the section was done and undertook window trailing between Dhone and Bogolu station. Speed test run was conducted between Dhone and Ulikonda to check the track fitness. The General Manager also inspected Manned and Un-manned Level Crossing Gates; major/minor bridges, Health Unit, Railway Colony during his inspection at Kurnool City railway station.

· At Karnool City Station, Shri Srivastava,  inaugurated Hindi Library at Kurnool City as a measure towards promoting  Raj Bhasha Hindi.  

·At  Gadwal, he inaugurated staff amenities such as a Crew Rest Room and an Officers Rest House  for the benefit of staff.

·He also inaugurated a manned Level Crossing with interlocking facilities situated between Devarakadra and Koukuntla towards enhancing  safety of road users.

·At Mahbubnagar, General Manager held a detailed inspection of station premises, passenger amenities and reviewed the o­ngoing developmental works. He inaugurated a newly built community Hall and Crew Rest Room towards enhancing staff amenities.

8^th Bharat Scouts & Guides, Hyderabad District Rally camp

Shri Srivastava also made a visit to the 8^th District Rally of Bharat Scouts & Guides, Hyderabad District,  being held at Mahbubnagar from 9^thto 12^th February, 2015. He was received with a Grand General Salute given by the Girls Guide Band Team and guard of honour presented by all the participating Scouts and Guides. The General Manager visited the tent area setup at the camp site.  Shri P.K. Srivastava, appreciated the Improvised Camp Crafts, Rangoli,  Ekbhana, Exhibition put by the participants. Later, he witnessed the adventure activities & cultural programmes presented by the Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Rangers  participating from various Railway Schools of Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Vijayawada and Guntakal Divisions. He appreciated the children for their active participation and leaders for conducting the rally.
