For the
convenience of the passengers who have not planned rail travel in advance
during the high-demand festive season or for those passengers prefer to
undertake journeys in Unreserved trains especially to east-bound destinations,
i.e. region serving the state of Bihar during the traditionally celebrated
important festive occasions, Northern Railway has provided the facility
of totally unreserved Jansadharan Special Trains. Northern
Railway has planned to run three pairs of Jansadharan Special Trains as per the
under-mentioned programme:-
1) Train
No 05101/05102
Chhapra-Delhi Jansadharan (Weekly) Special Train (6 trips in each direction)
The Train No 05101
Chhapra - Delhi Jansadharan (Weekly) Special Train will
depart from Chhapra at 04.00 p.m. on
every Sunday i.e. on 05/10/14, 12/10/14, 19/10/14, 26/10/14, 02/11/14 &
09/11/14 (Total 6 Trips ) to reach Delhi Jn. at 11.55 a.m. the next
day. In the return direction, the 05102Delhi
Jn- Chhapra Jansadharan (Weekly) Special Train will
depart from Delhi Jn at 01.55 p.m. on
every Monday i.e. on 06/10/14, 13/10/14, 20/10/14, 27/10/14, 03/11/14 &
10/11/14 respectively (Total 6 Trips) to reach Chhapra at 10.55 a.m. the next day.
Comprising of Nineteen General Second
Class, & Two Disabled friendly Second Class cum luggage van coaches, the 05101/05102 Chhapra-Delhi
Jansadharan (Weekly) Special Train will
stop at Ballia, Mau, Muhammadabad, Azamgarh, Khorasan Road, Shahganj, Lucknow
and Moradabad stations enroute in both the directions.
2) Train No 04428 / 04427 Delhi – Patna
– Delhi Jansadharan Express (Bi-Weekly) Special Train (18 trips in each
direction)
The 04428 Delhi – Patna Jansadharan
Express (Bi-Weekly) Special Train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 10.45 a.m. on every Monday &
Thursday from 29.09.2014 to 28.11.2014 (Total 18 Trips) to reach Patna
at 06. 45 a.m. the next day. In the return
direction, the 04427 Patna – Delhi Jansadharan Express (Bi-Weekly)
Special Train will depart from Patna at 09.30 a.m. on every Tuesday & Friday
from 30.09.2014 to 29.11.2014 (Total 18 Trips) to reach Delhi Jn at 05.20 a.m.
the next day.
Comprising of General Second
Class, cum luggage van coaches, the 04428/04427 Delhi – Patna – Delhi Jansadharan
Express(Bi-Weekly) Special Train will stop at
Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur,
Varanasi, Mughalsarai Jn, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations enroute in both
the directions.
3) Train No 04914 / 04913 Ambala– Saharsa –
Ambala Jansadharan Express Special Train (18 trips in each direction)
The 04914 Ambala -Saharsa Jansadharan
Express (Bi-Weekly) Special Train will depart from Ambala at 10.15 a.m. on every Monday & Thursday
from 29.09.2014 to 28.11.2014 (Total 18 Trips) to reach Saharsa
at 12.00 noon the next day. In the return
direction, the 04913 Saharsa-Ambala Jansadharan Express (Bi-Weekly)
Special Train will depart from Saharsa at 03.00 p.m. on every Tuesday & Friday
from 30.09.2014 to 29.11.2014 (Total 18 Trips) to reach Ambala at 04.30
p.m. the next day.
Comprising of
General Second Class & luggage van coaches, the 04914/04913 Ambala–
Saharsa-Ambala Jansadharan Express Special Train will stop at Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur
Cantt., Gonda, Gorakhpur, Sewan, Chhapra, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur and
Khagaria stations enroute in both the directions.
Northern
Railway has also planned to run 4 pairs of Premium Specials & 4 pairs of
Express trains to popular east-bound destinations during the festival period.
These include 04409/04410 Delhi-Darbhanga Premium Special, 04411/04412 New
Delhi-Barauni Premium Special, 09051/09052 Chhapra-Surat Premium Special,
02265/02266 Delhi-Sealdah Premium Special. The Express Special trains include
08033/08034 Anand Vihar Terml - Santraganchi Express Special, 05717/05718
Ferozpur-Katihar Express Special, 03517/03518 Anand Vihar Terml-Asansol Express
Special, 03113/03114 New Delhi-Kolkata Express Special train.
