SCR to Open Toll Free Security Helpline 1332 from 2nd October, 2014



With a view to strengthen the security of passengers traveling in trains and at stations, South Central Railway (SCR) will open a dedicated four digit, 24X7, Passenger Security Helpline Number -- 1322 over the Zone from 2nd October, 2014.

This Helpline facility will provide speedy assistance to the passengers within South Central Railway jurisdiction in the event of theft/snatching of Passenger luggage/valuables, pick pocketing, harassment by co-passengers and un-authorised passengers traveling in the coaches reserved for women and physically challenged persons or any other criminal incidents.

This unique helpline will automatically forward the call of the complainant to the Zonal Security Control Room of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and the complainant will be apprised of the action taken. The complaints o­nce received at RPF Control Room will be immediately forwarded to the concerned RPF Post, RPF/GRP (Government Railway Police) train escort parties and to the Divisional Security Control Rooms of RPF and GRP for taking necessary action and to provide immediate relief to the complainant.
