CHANGES IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES in SR

Due to line block / power block to facilitate engineering works at Gummidipundi yard, the following changes will be made in train services on 27.09.2014, Saturday.

A. The following suburban trains will be fully cancelled

1. Train No.42001 MMC – Gummidipundi EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 00.15 hrs. will be cancelled.

2. Train No.42004 Gummidipundi – MMC EMU local scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 04.00 hrs. will be cancelled.

 B. The following trains will be regulated / rescheduled

1. Train No.12604 Hyderabad – Chennai Central express, scheduled to reach Chennai Central at 05.55 hrs., will be regulated at Elavur and reach Chennai Central late.
2. Train No.17644 Kakinada Port – Chennai Egmore Circar express, scheduled to reach Chennai Egmore at 06.30 hrs., will be regulated at Elavur and reach Chennai Egmore late.
3. Train No.42451 Gummidipundi – Sulurpeta EMU local, scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 04.40 hrs., will leave Gummidipundi late by 25 minutes.
4. Train No.42402 Sulurpeta – MMC EMU local, scheduled to leave Sulurpeta at 05.40 hrs., will leave Sulurpeta late by 20 minutes.

To facilitate engineering works at Arakkonam railway station, changes were made in the pattern of some suburban train services in Chennai – Arakkonam section for 28 days from 11.08.2014.  The changes were extended further for a period of 15 days from 09.09.2014.  Now, it is stated that the changes will continue until further advice.  The changes are as given below.

A. The following trains will be partially cancelled between Thiruvalangadu – Arakkonam.

1. Train No.43803 Chennai Beach - Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 04.30 hrs.
2. Train No.43405 MMC – Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 06.40 hrs.
3. Train No.43425 MMC – Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 18.05 hrs.
4. Train No.43427 MMC – Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 18.40 hrs.

B. Partial cancellation of Ladies Special EMU between Tiruvallur – Arakkonam.

Train No.43807 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam Ladies Special EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 18.05 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tiruvallur – Arakkonam.

C. Extension of EMU to Chitteri.

Train No.66011 MMC – Arakkonam MEMU fast local scheduled to leave MMC at 17.45 hrs. will be extended to run upto Chitteri.
