Railway Minister Announces Setting up of A State-of-the-Art Training Centre for Railway Protection Force at Maula-Ali, Secundedrabad

The Minister of Railways, Shri D.V.Sadananda Gowda was the Chief Guest at the Passing Out Parade of 53rd batch of 421 direct recruit Railways Protection Force (RPF) Sub-Inspector Cadets including 42 lady officers at RPF Training Centre, Maula-Ali, Secunderabad today. While addressing a gathering at the Parade, Shri Gowda announced the setting of a ‘State-of-the-Art training centre at Maula-Ali, Secunderabad to be known as the ‘National Academy for Railway Security”. He also announced the provision of a Fire Arms Training Simulator for each training centre of RPF and a cash reward of Rs. 10 lakh on the occasion.

These cadets completed nine months of initial training during which they received rigorous physical training and were taught various indoor subjects like law, crime, forensic science, disaster management etc. All the cadets were successful in the final examination conducted after training.

Also present on the occasion were Director General, RPF, Shri P.K.Srivastava, General Manger of South Central and senior officers. Family members of all cadets belonging to all parts of the country were also present in huge numbers to witness their loved one joining active service in this prestigious Armed Force of the Union.
