Modernisation of Railway Network

Modernisation of services and extension of Railways network is an ongoing process over Indian Railways. There is a constant endeavour of Ministry of Railways for capacity augmentation and upgradation of tracks and rolling stock, improvements in signalling systems, training and monitoring of loco pilots, induction of modern technologies, including provision of enabling infrastructure.
