RESCHEDULING OF TRAIN, TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS, CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES IN CHENNAI CENTRAL – GUDUR SECTION, CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES IN CHENGALPATTU – VILLUPURAM SECTION, REVISION IN DAYS OF PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF EMUs

RESCHEDULING OF TRAIN

Train No.15902 Dibrugarh – Bangalore weekly express scheduled to leave Dibrugarh at 18.30 hrs. o­n 18.10.2013 (Friday), leave Perambur at 04.30 hrs. o­n 21.10.2013 (Monday) and arrive Bangalore at 11.50 hrs. o­n 21.10.2013 (Monday) has been rescheduled to leave Dibrugarh at 13.30 hrs. o­n 19.10.2013due to late running of pairing train.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train Nos. 14260/14259 Varanasi – Rameswaram – Varanasi weekly express trains will be temporarily augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach from 20.10.2013 to 24.11.2013 ex. Varanasi and from 23.10.2013 to 27.11.2013 ex. Rameswaram to clear the extra rush of passengers.

CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES IN CHENNAI CENTRAL – GUDUR SECTION

Due to line block / power block to facilitate engineering works in Chennai Central -Gudur section, the following trains will be fully cancelled o­n 19.10.2013 and 20.10.2013.

1. Train No.42001 MMC – Gummidipundi EMU leaving MMC at 00.15 hrs.                        2. Train No.42002 Gummidipundi – MMC EMU leaving Gummidipundi at 02.45 hrs.

CHANGE IN PATTERN OF TRAIN SERVICES IN CHENGALPATTU – VILLUPURAM SECTION

Due to line block to facilitate engineering works in Chengalpattu – Villupuram section, the following changes will be made in train services for 30 days from 21.10.2013.

Train No.66045 / 66046 Melmaruvathur – Villupuram – Melmaruvathur passenger trains will be fully cancelled.

REVISION IN DAYS OF PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF EMUs

On 10.10.2013 it was announced vide Press Release No.126 that the following EMUs will be partially cancelled between Ennore – Gumidipoondi o­n Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12.10.2013 to 30.11.2013 to facilitate engineering works.  But according to revised programme of works, the trains will be partially cancelled on Tuesdays and Fridays, and not as mentioned earlier, upto to 29.11.2013.

The following trains will be partially cancelled between Ennore – Gummidipundi.

1) Train No. 42017 MMC - Gummidipundi EMU scheduled to leave MMC at 11.35 hrs.

2) Train No. 42026 Gummidipundi - MMC EMU scheduled to leave Gummidipundi at 13.35 hrs.
