MEGA BLOCK o­n 20.10.2013

Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 20.10.2013 : -

VIDYAVIHAR-BYCULLA UP SLOW LINE FROM 11.30 AM TO 3.30 PM

Up slow line services leaving Ghatkopar from 11.07 am 3.27 pm will be diverted o­n Up fast line between Vidyavihar and Byculla halting at Kurla, Sion, Matunga, Dadar and Parel stations and further will be re-diverted o­n Up slow line proper at Byculla.

All Dn fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.08 am to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts. All Up fast line services leaving Thane from 10.50 am to 3.08 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.

Up slow line services will not available at Vidyavihar, Currey Road and Chinchpokli stations. Passengers of Vidyavihar, Currey Road and Chichpokli are permitted to travel via Kurla and Byculla in Dn direction.

ON KALYAN-AMBARNATH UP AND DN SOUTH EAST LINES FROM 2.00 PM TO 3.15 PM.

Dn suburban services leaving Kalyan from 1.32 pm to 3.17 pm and Up suburban services leaving Badlapur from 1.49 pm to 3.22 pm will remain suspended between Kalyan and Badlapur. However, shuttle services will run between Badlapur and Karjat during the block period.

CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS - KURLA DN HARBOUR LINE & VADALA ROAD - BANDRA UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.10 AM TO 3.10 PM.

Dn Harbour line services to Bandra/Andheri leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.48 am to 3.33 pm and Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Bandra /Andheri from 10.40 am to 3.45 pm will remain suspended.

Dn Harbour line services for Panvel / Belapur/Vashi leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.52 am to 3.13 pm will run via Main line between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Kurla further will be diverted o­n Dn Harbour line. These trains will not halt at Chinchpokli and Currey Road stations.

Harbour line passengers for Bandra/ Andheri are permitted to travel Via Main line and Western Railway from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm o­n 20.10.2013.

As a result of this, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n foot board, roof top of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
