SCR to Run Twenty Six Special Trains During Dussera and Diwali Festival Season

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Dussera and Diwali festival season, South Central Railway will run twenty six special trains between Secunderabad and Machilipatnam; Secunderabad and Vijayawada and Secunderabad and Guwahati as per the following schedule:-

1) Secunderabad - Machilipatnam - Secunderabad Special Trains (10 services):

Train No. 07050 Secunderabad - Machilipatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 10:30 am o­n 28^th September & 5^th, 12^th, 19^th and 26^th October, 2014 (Sundays) and arrive Machilipatnam at 07:30 pm o­n the same day.

In the return direction Train No. 07049 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad special train will depart Machilipatnam at 09:30 pm o­n 28^th September & 5^th, 12^th, 19^th and 26^th October, 2014 (Sundays) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:55 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Mahbubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Gudivada, Gudlavalleru and Pedana stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 18 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

2)  Secunderabad-Vijayawada- Secunderabad Special Trains (10 services): 

Train No. 07208 Secunderabad-Vijayawada Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 11:15 pm o­n 19^th and 26^th September & 3^rd, 10^th and 17^th October, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Vijayawada at 05:45 am o­n the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 07207 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 11:00 pm o­n 18^th and 25^th September & 2^nd, 9^th and 16^th October, 2014 (Thursdays)and arrive Secunderabad at 05:40 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalle, Guntur and Mangalagiri stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 15 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

3) Secunderabad-Guwahati-Secunderabad Special Train (6 services):

Train No. 07249 Secunderabad - Guwahati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 07:30 am o­n 19^th September & 10^th and 24^thOctober, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Guwahati at 07:55 am o­n the second day i.e., Sundays.

In the return direction, Train No.07250 Guwahati - Secunderabad Special Train will depart Guwahati at 06:00 am o­n 22^nd September & 13^th and 27^thOctober, 2014 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 10:00 am o­n the second day i.e., Wednesdays.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Palasa, Berhampur, Kurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Howrah, Bolpur, Rampurhat, Malda Town, Barsoi, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, Goalpura Town and Kamakhya stations in both the directions.

These trains will have 18 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.
