Central Railway,
as a part of its consistent efforts to provide safety and security to its
passengers has now announced an incentive scheme to report any incidents of
crime on trains and railway premises for which the concerned person will be
suitably rewarded.
This scheme
calls upon detective agencies and individuals in this profession to provide
documentary evidences like videos, photographs etc of criminals and
crimes like robbery, dacoity, chain snatching, theft of mobiles and
laptops and other crimes against women, on the basis of which an F.I.R can be
lodged and registered against the culprits and their identities can be
ascertained.
The detectives
will be suitably rewarded for such evidences as soon as an F.I.R has been
successfully lodged.
The reward will
be of the order of Rs.5000/- for heinous crimes and Rs.1000/- for crimes like
chain snatching etc.
