RAILWAYS ARRANGEMENTS ON THE OCCASION OF MAHAPARINIRVAN DIVAS ON 6.12.2014

As instructed by Hon'ble Minister for Railways Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Central & Konkan Railway will run 10 special trains from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus/Dadar to Sevagram / Ajni / Nagpur and between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Madgaon/ Ratnagiri to clear the extra rush of passengers o­n account of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvan Divas o­n 06.12.2014. 

With a view to facilitate the extra rush, Central Railway will not be operating Mega Block o­n 7.12.2014 o­n any of the suburban sections. 

Instructions have been issued to Railway’s Commercial, Security departments to assist the passengers who come to pay homage. Frequent announcements will be made through public announcement system to inform the passengers about the running of special trains. Adequate arrangements for queue, drinking water facilities have been made for boarding the trains.  Passengers are requested to board the train with proper tickets.

The details of special trains are as under-

1. Special train No. 01069 will leave Mumbai CST at 04.05 p.m. o­n 6.12.2014 and will reach Ajni at 08.10 a.m. next day.

2. Special train No. 01071 will leave Mumbai CST at 06.40 p.m. o­n 6.12.2014 and will reach Sevagram  at 10.30 a.m. next day.

3. Special train No.01073 will leave Dadar at 00.40 a.m. o­n 7.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 06.00 p.m. same day.

4. Special train No.01075 will leave Mumbai CST at 12.35 p.m. o­n 7.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 3.30 a.m. next day.

5. Special train No.01083 will leave Mumbai CST at 06.40 p.m. o­n 8.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 12.10 pm next day. 

6. Special train No.01085 will leave Dadar at 00.40 a.m. o­n 8.12.2014 and will reach Nagpur at 06.00 p.m. same day.

Halts for All these Special Trains : Dadar, Kalyan, Kasara, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Jalamb, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Damangaon, Pulgaon, Wardha, Sewagram, Ajni and Nagpur. 

7. Special Train No.00111 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 07.30 hrs o­n Sunday 7.12.2014 and will arrive Madgaon at 21.00 hrs same day.

8. Special Train No.00112 will leave Madgaon at 09.40 hrs o­n Friday 5.12.2014 and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 23.15 hrs same day.

Halts: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Kankavli, Kudal, Sawantwadi Road, Thivim and Karmali.

9. Special Train No. 00113 will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 00.20 hrs o­n Saturday 6.12.2014 (midnight of Fri/Sat) and will arrive Ratnagiri at 07.00 hrs same day.

10. Special Train No. 00114 unreserved special will leave Ratnagiri at 17.00 hrs o­n Saturday 6.12.2014 and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 00.30 hrs next day.

Halts: Dadar, Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, and Sangameshwar. 

All these unreserved specials will run with 12 General second class.
