East Coast Railway Runs Summer Special Trains to avoid heavy Rush

It is seen that, passengers are not getting confirmed tickets in train journey due to heavy rush in different regular trains during the Summer. With an aim to provide comfortable journey to the commuters during Summer and to avoid rush in different regular trains, East Coast Railway has introduced Summer Special Trains towards different destinations of the country from it’s jurisdiction including running of weekly Premium Super Fast Special Trains. Passengers may avail the facility of Special trains to go to their destinations. These Special Trains are: 

BHUBANESWAR-YESVANTPUR PREMIUM SUPER FAST SPECIAL:

Train No 00851 Bhubaneswar - Yesvantpur weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bhubaneswar at 1200hrs (noon) o­n every Wednesday between 7^thMay to 25^th June 2014 and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 1100hrs o­n Thursdays.

PURI-SANTRAGACHHI:

Train No 08401 Puri-Santragachhi Special train Leaving Puri at 2125hrs o­n every Friday between 4^thApril to 27^th June 2014 and arriving at Santragachhi at 0630hrs o­n the next days.

SAMBALPUR-YESVANTPUR:

Train No 08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Special train leaving Sambalpur at 0850hrs o­n every Wednesday between 2^nd April to 25^th June 2014 and arriving at Yesvanpur at 1630hrs o­n the next days.

BHUBANESWAR-NEW DELHI SPECIAL:

Train No 02815 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special train leaving Bhubaneswar at 0810hrs o­n every Sunday and arriving at New Delhi at 0605hrs o­n every Monday will run up to 29^th June 2014 from Bhubaneswar.

VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD AC SPECIAL:

Train No 02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 1905hrs o­n every Saturday between 19^th April to 31^st May 2014 and arriving at Secunderabad at 0750hrs o­n the next day.

VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL:

Train No 08503 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 1905hrs o­n every Monday between 31^st March to 30^th June 2014 and arriving at Secunderabad at 0750hrs o­n the next day.

VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL:

Train No 08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special train leaving Visakhapatnam at 2300hrs o­n every Tuesday between 1^st April to 24^th June 2014 and arriving at Secunderabad at 1145hrs o­n the next day.

SANTRAGACHHI-ERNAKULAM:

Train No 02851 Saantragachhi-Ernakulam Special train leaving Santragachhi at 1615hrs o­n every Saturday between 12^th April to 28^th June 2014 and arriving at Ernakulam at 0600hrs o­n Mondays.

HOWRAH-YESVANTPUR:

Train No 02863 Howrah-Yesvantpur Special train leaving Howrah at 1100hrs o­n every Monday between 21^st April to 30^th June 2014 and arriving at Yesvantpur at 1600hrs o­n Tuesdays.

Apart from this, ECoR has also augmenting additional coaches permanently in different important trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction according to the feasibility and demands from the passengers. Based o­n analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile o­n various routes, both permanent and temporary augmentation of coaches in Mail/Express trains is being done by attaching more coaches
