Introduction of Train No. 56217 / 56218 Talguppa - Shimoga Town Daily Passenger and Extension of Passenger Train No. 56276 / 56275

For the convenience of travelling Public, South Western Railway as per the directives of Railway Board has decided to introduce New Daily Passenger Train between TALGUPPA-SHIMOGA TOWN-TALGUAPPA (Train Nos.56217/56218) and Extension of Service of Daily Passenger between Mysore-Shimoga Town-Mysore (Tr. No.56276/56275) to TALGUPPA Stationwill be flagged off by Shri MALLIKARJUN KHARGE, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways at SHIMOGA TOWN RAILWAY STATION o­n Saturday, the 3^rdAugust, 2013 at 3-00 p.m.

The Inaugural Train between Talguppa-Shimoga Town Passenger (Train Nos.56217/56218)and Extension of Service from Shimoga Town to Talguppa Passenger Train (Tr. Nos. 56276/56275)will be flagged off at Shimoga Town Station at 3-00 p.m. o­n 3^rdAugust, 2013 in the august presence of Shri Kogodu Thimmappa, Hon’ble Speaker, Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Shri D.H. Shankaramurthy, Hon’ble Chairman, Karnataka Legislative Council and Shri Kimmane Ranakar, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Govt. of Karnataka & Minister Incharge of Shimoga District.

Shri B.Y. Raghavendra, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Shri Ayanur Manjunath, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) will grace the occasion as Distinguished Guests.Shri K.B. Prasanna Kumar, MLA(Shimoga),Smt. Sharada Poorya Naik, MLA(Shimoga Rural), Shri B.S. Yeddyurappa, MLA(Shikaripura) & Former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Shri Appaji M.J., MLA (Bhadravati), Shri S. The REGULAR TIMINGS OF Train Nos. 56217/56218 TALGUPPA-SHIMOGA TOWN-TALGUPPA DAILY PASSENGER TRAINS ARE AS FOLLOWS :--

Accordingly, Train No.567217 TALGUPPA-SHIMOGA TOWN DAILY PASSENGER will depart at TALGUPPA at 10-00 hrs. with effect from 04^thAugust,2013 and arrive at SHIMOGA TOWN at 12-50 hrs. o­n the same day. Enroute, the Daily Passenger will arrive/depart at YESVANTPUR at 05-49/05-50 hrs; Chikbanavar at 05-59/06-00 hrs; and arrive/depart at Kyatsandra at 06-37/06-38.

In the return direction, Train No.06502 TUMKUR-BANGALORE CITY DAILY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at TUMKUR at 08-15 hrs. . with effect from 04^thAugust,2013 to 30^th June, 2014 and arrive at BANGALORE CITY at 09-50 hrs., o­n the same day.En route, the Express Daily Special will arrive/depart at Kyatsandra at 08-23/08-24 hrs; Chikbanavar at 09-00/09-01 hrs; and arrive/depart at YESVANTPUR at 09-15/09-20 hrs.

The Daily Express Special Train will have total 09 coaches, consisting of Three Second Class Sleeper coaches, Four General Second Class coaches, One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van and One General Second Class cum disabled coach.

EXTENSION OF TRAIN SERVICE OF TRAIN NO. 56276/56275 MYSORE-SHIMOGA TOWN-MYSORE PASSENGER TO TALGUPPA:--

The Extension of Train Service of Train No. 56276/56275 MYSORE-SHIMOGA TOWN-MYSORE DAILY PASSENGER TO TALGUPPA will also be flagged off of by Shri MALLIKARJUN KHARGE, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways at Shimoga Town Railway Station at 3-00 p.m., o­n Saturday, the 03^rd August, 2013 in the presence of above dignataries.

The regular timings ofTrain service in the extended portion are as follows:--

Accordingly, Train No.56276 MYSORE-TALGUPPA PASSENGER will depart at 13-00 hrs.at MYSORE station from 03^rdAugust, 2013 o­nwards and arrive at TALGUPPA at 22-15 hrs., o­n the same day.

Enroute, the Daily Passenger will arrive/depart at SHIMOGA TOWN at 19-10/19-20 hr; Kotegananur Halt at 19-29/19-30 hrs; Konagavalli Halt at 19-41/19-42 hrs; Harnahalli Halt at 19-47/19-48 hrs; Kumsi at 19-59/20-00 hrs; ArasaluHalt at 20-17/20-18 hrs; Kenchanahalu at 20-24/20-25 hrs; Anandapuram at 20-44/20-45 hrs; Adderi Halt at 20-59/21-00 hrs; and arrive/depart at Sagara Jambagaru at 21-24/21-25 hrs., with effect from 03^rd August, 2013.

In the return direction, Train No.56275 TALGUPPA-MYSORE PASSENGER will depart at TALGUPPA at 05-00 hrs. from 04^thAugust, 2013 o­nwards, and arrive at MYSORE station at 14-10 hrs., o­n the same day.

Enroute, the Daily Passenger will arrive/depart at Sagara Jambagaru at 05-21/05-22 hrs; Adderi Halt at 05-47/05-48 hrs; Anandapuram at 06-09/06-10 hrs; Kenchanahalu Halt at 06-22/06-23 hrs; Arasalu at 06-29/06-30 hrs; Kumsi at 06-50/06-51 hrs; Harnahalli Halt at 06-59 / 07-00 hrs; Konagavalli Halt at 07-06/07-07 hrs; KotegananurHalt at 07-14/07-15 hrs; and arrive/depart at SHIMOGA TOWN at 07-40/07-50 hrs. with effect from 04^th August, 2013.

NOTE : There is no change in existing Composition and timings between Mysore and Shimoga Town Station.
