Introduction of Train No. 06501 / 06502 Bangalore City – Tumkur – Bangalore City Daily Express Special Train

For the convenience of travelling Public, South Western Railway as per the directives of Railway Board has decided to introduce Special Daily Express between BANGALORE CITY - TUMKUR - BANGALORE CITY (Train Nos. 06501 / 06502) and will be flagged off by Shri MALLIKARJUN KHARGE, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways at TUMKUR RAILWAY STATION o­n Saturday, the 3rd August, 2013 at 10:00 hrs. The Special Daily Express will run as inaugural Special with open timings from TUMKUR station to BANGALORE CITY o­n 3rd August, 2013 without any stoppage en route.The Special Train will be flagged off in the august presence of Shri T.B. Jayachandra, Hon’ble Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation, Animal Husbandry & Minister Incharge of Tumkur District, Govt. of Karnataka, Shri G.S. Basavaraj, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) and Smt. B. Jayashree, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha).

Sinha,Chief Operations Manager, SWR, Shri Sanjeeb Halder, Chief Commercial Manager, SWR, Shri Anil Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Bangalore Division and other Principal Heads of Departments, senior railway officials, Staff, representatives of Union/Associations and Public at large will be present.

The inaugural Special train from Tumkur to Bangalore City will travel its journey with open timings, leaving TUMKUR Station at 10:00 hrs. o­n Saturday, the 03rd August, 2013, without any stoppage enroute.

The REGULAR TIMINGS OF Train Nos. 06501/06502 BANGALORE CITY-TUMKUR-BANGALORE CITY DAILY EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS ARE AS FOLLOWS :--

Accordingly, Train No.06501 BANGALORE CITY - TUMKUR DAILY EXPRESS will depart at Bangalore City at 05:40 hrs. with effect from 04th August,2013 to 30th June, 2014 and arrive at TUMKUR at 06:50 hrs. o­n the same day. Enroute, the Express Daily Special will arrive / depart at YESVANTPUR at 05:49/05:50 hrs; Chikbanavar at 05:59 / 06:00 hrs and arrive/depart at Kyatsandra at 06:37 / 06:38.

In the return direction, Train No.06502 TUMKUR - BANGALORE CITY DAILY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at TUMKUR at 08:15 hrs with effect from 04th August,2013 to 30th June, 2014 and arrive at BANGALORE CITY at 09:50 hrs o­n the same day. Enroute, the Express Daily Special will arrive / depart at Kyatsandra at 08:23 / 08:24 hrs; Chikbanavar at 09:00/09:01 hrs; and arrive/depart at YESVANTPUR at 09:15 / 09:20 hrs.

The Daily Express Special Train will have total 09 coaches, consisting of Three Second Class Sleeper coaches, Four General Second Class coaches, One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van and One General Second Class-cum-disabled coach.
