The Ministry of Railways has decided to extend the
validity of all experimental stoppages of various trains for a period of three
more months i.e. upto 30.09.2014.
Accordingly, the validity of all experimental stoppages earlier extended upto 30.06.2014 will stand further extended upto 30.09.2014. The decision on continuation of these temporary stoppages will be reviewed after three months based on commercial feasibility.
This decision has been taken in view of a large number of representations received by the Minister of Railways Shri D.V.Sadananda Gowda from the general public so as to avoid inconvenience to public in the ensuing summer rush of passengers.
