Rail Transport arrangement for Bible Mission Annual Convention at Nagarjuna Nagar Railway Halt station on Vijayawada-Guntur Section



South Central Railway will make the following rail transport arrangement to facilitate the pilgrims attending Bible Mission Annual Convention to be held at Nagarjuna Nagar Railway Halt Station o­n Vijayawada – Guntur section.

a)Augmentation of Trains with 1 or 2 General Second Class Coaches:

The following Passenger Trains will be augmented with general second Class Coaches from 26th to 29th January 2014
    
1.Train No.57231/57232 Kakinada-Vijayawada-Kakinada Passenger
2.Train No.57382/57381 Narasapur-Guntur-Narasapur Passenger
3.Train No.57217/57218 Macherla- Bhimavaram/Guntur-Macherla Passenger
4.Train No.57327 Dhone-Guntur Passenger

b) Augmentation of Trains with 10 General Second Class Coaches:

1. Train No. 57298 Narasapur-Guntur Passenger will be augmented with ten General Second Class Coaches.

c) Extension of trains:

1.Train No. 57226 / 57225 Vijayawada-Visakapatnam-Vijayawada Passenger will be extended up to Guntur for four days from 26th to 29th January 2014 with stoppage at Nagarjuna Nagar Halt Station. Accordingly, Train No.57226 Passenger will depart Vijayawada at 19 05 hrs, Nagarjuna Nagar halt station at 19 42 hrs and arrive Guntur at 20 00 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction Tr.No. 57225 Passenger will depart Guntur at 06 35 hrs, Nagarjuna Nagar halt station at 06 56 hrs and arrive Vijayawada at 08 00 hrs o­n the same day.

2.Train No. 57232 / 57231 Kakinada-Vijayawada-Kakinada Passenger will be extended up to Guntur for two days from 27th & 28th January 2014 with stoppage at Nagarjuna Nagar Halt Station. Accordingly Train No. 57232 Passenger will depart Vijayawada at 09 55 hrs, Nagarjuna Nagar halt station at 10 27 hrs and arrive Guntur at 10 55 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction Tr.No. 57231 Passenger will depart Guntur at 15 20 hrs, Nagarjuna Nagar halt station at 15 42 hrs and arrive Vijayawada at 16 30 hrs o­n the same day. 

3.Train No. 57272 Rayagada-Vijayawada Passenger will be extended up to Guntur for two days from 26th & 29th January 2014. Accordingly Train No. 57272 Passenger will depart Vijayawada at 09 15 hrs and arrive Guntur at 10 10 hrs o­n the same day.

d) Kakinada-Guntur-Kakinada Special Train:

Train No. 07223 Kakinada-Guntur Passenger Special will depart Kakinda at 05 30 hrs o­n 26th January 2014 and arrive Guntur at 12 50 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 07224 Guntur-Kakinada Passenger Special will depart Guntur at 13 50 hrs o­n 29th January 2014 and arrive Kakinada at 20 40 hrs o­n the same day.

This Special Train will stop at all stations en-route. This train will comprise eight General Second Class Coaches and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to ten coaches.

e) Temporary Stoppage: The following trains will stop for two minutes at Nagarjuna Nagar Station for four days from 26th to 29th January 2014.

1.Train No. 17201 / 17202 Guntur – Secunderabad - Guntur Golconda Express

2. Train No. 17239 / 17240 Guntur – Visakapatnam - Guntur Simhadri Express

1584 Additional Berths to Visakha Express by Attaching Additional Coach



South Central Railway will temporarily augment the berths in Visakha Express by attaching one additional Sleeper Class Coach to clear the extra rush / waitlisted passengers as per the details mentioned below:-

1. Train No. 17016 Secunderabad - Bhubaneshwar Visakha Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 21st to 31st January, 2014.

2.  Train No. 17015 Bhubaneshwar - Secunderabad Visakha Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 23rd January to 2nd February, 2014. 

These extra Coaches will make available 1584 additional berths to clear extra rush and wait listed passengers.

Introduction of Train No. 18567 / 18568 Visakhapatnam-Kollam-Visakhapatnam Weekly Express



As announced in the Railway Budget 2013-2014, Train No. 18567/18568 Visakhapatnam – Kollam – Visakhapatnam weekly Express will be introduced with effect from 30thJanuary, 2014 from Visakhapatnam and with effect from 31st January, 2014 from Kollam. This train runs through the jurisdiction of South Central Railway. The regular timings of this train with stoppages are given below:-

Train. No. 18567 Visakhapatnam – Kollam weekly Express will depart Visakhapatnam at 09 00 hrs o­n Thursdays and arrive Kollam at 14 10 hrs o­n Fridays. In the return direction, Train. No. 18568 Kollam – Visakhapatnam weekly Express will depart Kollam at 21 00 hrs on Fridays and arrive Visakhapatnam at 01 35 hrs o­n Sundays.

Enroute, this train will stop at Duvvada, Yellamancheli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Baptla, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jollarpattai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chengannur and Kayankulam stations in both the directions.

This train will consist of 21 Coaches viz., o­ne AC II tier, three AC III tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two General Second Class Luggage cum Brake van Coaches.
