Due to Maintenance Block at Surat o­n 15th June, 2014 || 5 Trains leaving/arriving Mumbai will be Partially Cancelled



Due to the maintenance block scheduled near Surat o­n Sunday, 15th June, 2014, five trains leaving or reaching at various stations of Mumbai o­n Western Railway, will be partially cancelled. This block is planned for dismantling of existing girder and replacing it by launching of new girder o­n Down Main line of Bridge No 440 between Udhna and Surat, as this work will be carried out on Sunday, 15th June, 2014  from 06:10 hrs to 15:10 hrs.

The running of various trains will be affected o­n the scheduled block day i.e. o­n 15th June, 2014 as per the details given below:

Partially cancelled Trains from/upto Mumbai:

1. 12935/12936 Bandra Terminus-Surat Intercity Express to be terminated at Udhna and will remain cancelled between Udhna-Surat- Udhna.

2. 19011/19012 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Gujarat Express will remain cancelled between Valsad-Surat-Valsad. Therefore, 19011 will be terminated at Valsad and 19012 will be terminated at Surat station. Hence, Train No. 12935 Dn/12926 UP will be given an additional halt at Billimora during block period.

3. 19215/19216 Mumbai Central – Porbandar Saurashtra Express will be cancelled between Valsad-Surat-Valsad. Hence 12925 Dn will be given additional halts at Billimora, Amalsad, Maroli and Udhna.

4. 59009/59010 Virar-Bharuch Shuttle will remain cancelled between Valsad-Bharuch-Valsad. Hence 12936 UP will be given additional halts at Bhestan, Sachin, Maroli, Vedchha, Amalsad. Billimora and Dungri.

5. 59047/59048 Virar-Surat Shuttle will be cancelled between Navsari-Surat-Navsari. Hence 19023 Dn will be given additional halts at Sachin, Bhestan and Udhna.

Some long distance trains will be delayed by 15 minutes to 1 hour or more due to the block. Detailed information of these trains will be available with respective station masters. Passengers are requested to please take note of the above and cooperate with the railway administration.
