Frequency of Visakhapatnam – Mumbai LTT- Visakhapatnam Express Increased from 4 days in a Week to Daily

Train. No. 18519 / 18520 Visakhapatnam - Mumbai LTT - Visakhapatnam Express will be increased from 4 days in a week to daily.

Accordingly, Train No. 18519 Visakhapatnam - Mumbai LTT Express will depart Visakhapatnam o­n all days with effect from 30^th January, 2014.

In the return direction, Train No. 18520 Mumbai LTT - Visakhapatnam Express will depart Mumbai LTT o­n all days with effect from 1^st February, 2014.

SWR INTRODUCES TRAIN NO. 22685/22686 YESVANTPUR-CHANDIGARH-YESVANTPUR BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS AS REGULAR BI-WEEKLY SERVICE AS ANNOUNCED IN THERAILWAY BUDGET-2013-14

The Railway Board has approved the increase in frequency of Train No.12629/12630 YESVANTPUR-NIZAMUDDIN-YESVANTPUR SAMPARK KRANTI EXPRESS from Bi-Weekly to Four days a week duly extending two days to CHANDIGARH as new Train Nos.22685/22686 YESVANTPUR-CHANDIGARH-YESVANTPUR BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS, as announced in Railway Budget-2013-14. The details are as under:--

REGULAR BI-WEEKLY SERVICE OF TRAIN NOS. 22685/22686 YESVANTPUR- CHANDIGARH-YESVANTPUR SAMPARK KRANTI EXPRESS COMMENCES FROM 22^ND JANUARY, 2014 o­nwards FROM YESVANTPUR END:

The regular service of Train No.22685/22686 YESVANTPUR-CHANDIGARH-YESVANTPUR BI-WEEKLY SAMPARK KRANTI EXPRESS will run on Wednesday & Saturdays from YESVANTPUR end, commencing from 22^ndJanuary, 2014 and from CHANDIGARH end o­n Saturday & Tuesdays, commencing from 25^th January, 2014.

Accordingly, Train No.22685 YESVANTPUR-CHANDIGARH SAMPARK KRANTI BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at 13-50 hrs., on Wednesday & Saturdays, commencing from 22^nd January, 2014 as regular service and arrive at CHANDIGARH at 18-20 hrs. o­n Fridays & Mondays.

Enroute, Train No.22685 Yesvantpur-Chandigarh Bi-weekly Express arrives/depart at Tumkur at 14-48/14-50 hrs; Davangere at 18-49/18-52 hrs; HUBLI Jn. at 21-40/21-50 hrs; Dharwad at 22-29/22-30 hrs; Belgaum at 00-30/00-32 hrs; Miraj Jn at 03-15/03-20 hrs; PUNE at 08-45/09-00 hrs; Bhopal Jn. 00-35/00-45 hrs; Jhansi Jn. at 06-05/06-13 hrs; HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN at 12-58/13-00 hrs; NEW DELHI at 13-35/13-55 hrs; Panipat at 15-14/15-16 hrs; and arrives/departs at Ambala at 17-30/17-35 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No.22686 CHANDIGARH-YESVANTPUR SAMPARK KRANTI BI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at 03-15 hrs., on Saturday & Tuesdays, commencing from 25^th January, 2014as regular service and arrive at YESVANTPUR at 06-20 hrs. o­n Mondays & Thursdays.

Enroute, Train No.22686 Chandigarh-Yesvantpur Bi-weekly Express arrives/departs at Ambala at 04-10/04-20 hrs; Panipat at 05-45/05-47 hrs; NEW DELHI at 07-50/08-10 hrs; HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN at 08-30/08-50 hrs; Jhansi Jn. at 14-55/15-03 hrs; Bhopal Jn. at 19-15/19-23 hrs; PUNE Jn. at 11-05/11-20 hrs; Miraj at 16-40/16-45 hrs; Belgaum at 18-47/18-50 hrs; DHARWAD at 21-28/21-30 hrs; HUBLI Jn. at 22-10/22-20 hrs; Davangere at 00-27/00-30 hrs; and arrives/departs at Tumkur at 04-53/04-55 hrs.

The Inaugural Special will have total 19 coaches, comprising of One First Class-cum- AC 2-tier coach, One AC 3-tier coach, Eight Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches and One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van, One Second Class luggage-cum- brake van-cum-disabled coach and a Pantry Car.

INTRODUCTION OF AIR-CONDITIONED BI-WEEKLY SUPERFAST EXPRESS TRAINS BETWEEN CHENNAI CENTRAL – SANTRAGACHI / PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

A fully air-conditioned bi-weekly superfast express train service will be introduced ex.Santragachi on 21.01.2014 and ex.Chennai Central on 23.01.2014.

Train No.22807 Santragachi - Chennai Central AC bi-weekly superfast express will leave Santragachi at 19.00 hrs. on Tuesdays and Fridays and arrive Chennai Central at 22.45 hrs. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Train No.22808 Chennai Central – Santragachi AC bi-weekly superfast express will leave Chennai Central at 07.55 hrs. on Thursdays and Sundays and arrive Santragachi at 10.25 hrs. on Fridays and Mondays.

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC First Class, 4 AC 2-tier and 10 AC 3-tier coaches. The trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot Jn. Rajamundry, Tadepalligudem, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Sullurupeta.

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on 18.01.2014.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train No.12851/12852 Bilaspur – Chennai Central – Bilaspur weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach from 02.02.2014 ex. Bilaspur and from 03.02.2014 ex. Chenai Central.
