Extension of CST Mumbai - Gorakhpur 4 Weekly Superfast special trains - Bookings open from 22.1.2016

Railways have decided to extend the run of weekly superfast specials between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai and Gorakhpur by 4 specials to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:-

02597  Special will leave Gorakhpur at 08.25 hrs o­n 23.01.2016 and 30.01.2016 (Saturday) and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 12.15 hrs next day.

02598  Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai at 14.20 hrs o­n 24.01.2016 and 31.01.2016 (Sunday) and arrive Gorakhpur at 18.45 hrs next day.

HALTS: Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda, Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Jhansi, Habibganj, Itarsi,     Bhusawal and Kalyan   

COMPOSITION: Four AC-2 Tier, Six AC-3 Tier, 4 Sleeper class and 4 General Second class

Reservation: Bookings for extended trips of train No. 02598 o­n special charges will open from 22.1.2016 at all PRS locations and through Internet.

EXTENSION OF AC WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN PUNE & HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN - Bookings open from 24.1.2016

Central Railway will extend the run of Air-conditioned weekly special trains between Pune and Hazrat Nizamuddin upto 28.2.2016 to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details of extended trips are as under: 

Train No 04417 AC weekly special will leave Pune at 0515 hrs o­n every Sunday from 7.2.2016 to 28.2.2016 (4 trips) and arrive Hazrat Nizamuddin at 0535 hrs next day.

Train No 04418 AC weekly special will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 2135 hrs o­n every Friday from 5.2.2016 to 26.2.2016 (4 trips) and arrive Pune at 2125 hrs next day. 

HALTS: Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Baroda, Ratlam and Kota.

COMPOSITION: - o­ne AC First class, 6 AC 2-tier, 8 AC 3-tier and o­ne AC Pantry car.

RESERVATION: Bookings for Train No. 04417 o­n special charges will open from 24.1.2016 at all PRS locations and through Internet.

CANCELLATION OF TRAIN SERVICES

The following train services are cancelled on 06.12.2015due to operational reasons.

   1.Train No.12624 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Central mail scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram o­n 06.12.2015 is cancelled.

     2.Train No.16724 Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram o­n 06.12.2015 is cancelled.

    3.Train No.22640 Alappuzha – Chennai Central express scheduled to leave Alappuzha o­n 06.12.2015 is cancelled
