In view of water logging at Howrah, Tikiapara and Santragachi Yards due to
torrential rain since last night, train services in Howrah-Kharagpur section of
South Eastern Railway have been affected from early morning today(01.08.2015).
Consequently, the following train services have been rescheduled/short
terminated/short originated/cancelled:-
RESCHEDULING OF TRAINS on 01.08.2015
·Train No 18645 Howrah-Hyderabad East
Coast Express will leave Howrah at 13.50 hrs instead of 11.45 hrs.
· Train No 12860 Howrah-Mumbai Gitanjali
Express will leave Howrah at 15.50 hrs instead of 13.50 hrs.

ACTION TAKEN TO RESTORE NORMALCY OF TRAIN MOVEMENT
The South Eastern Railway authorities have already deployed its full team
to keep watch on the situation and pushed adequate number of staff into action
at Tikiapara to run trains taking into consideration the safety aspect. Five
High Power Pumps are utilized to drain out the rain water from Railway track at
Howrah, Tikiapara and Santragachi Yards with a view to restore normalcy in
movement of trains.
