NORTHERN RAILWAY RUNS MORE FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS

To clear extra rush of rail passengers during festival season, Railway has decided to run festival special train nos. 04002/04001 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi Tri-Weekly express, 04602/04601 Amritsar - Muzaffarpur - Amritsar (Unreserved) Weekly,  train no 04314/04313 Bareilly - Darbhanga - Bareilly Weekly Express, train no 04022/04021 Delhi Jn.-Patna- Delhi Jn. Tri-Weekly express & train no 04024/04023 Darbhanga- Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Darbhanga Bi-Weekly Express as per the following programme:-

Train no 04002/04001 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi Tri-Weekly Express Festival Special Train (52 Trips)

Train no 04002 New Delhi- Patna Tri-Weekly express festival special train will run from 01.10.2013 to 28.11.2013 (26 trips) on every Tueday, Thursday & Saturday from New Delhi at 10.25 p.m. to reach Patna at 03.15 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train no 04001 Patna- New Delhi Tri-Weekly express festival special train will run from 02.10.2013 to 29.11.2013 (26 trips)  on every Wednesday, Friday & Sunday from Patna at 05.15 p.m. to reach New Delhi at 12.55 noon the next day.

Comprising of six sleeper class, six general class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, Train no 04002/04001 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi Tri-Weekly express special train will stop at  Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Tundla, Kanpur Central, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar & Ara stations enroute in both the directions.

Train no 04602/04601 Amritsar- Muzaffarpur - Amritsar(Unreserved) Weekly Festival Special Train (16 Trips)

Train no 04602 Amritsar- Muzaffarpur Unreserved Weekly festival Special train will depart from Amritsar from 06.10.13 to 24.11.13 (08 trips) o­n every Sunday at 12.35 p.m.(noon) to reach Muzaffarpur at 03.15  p.m. the next day.  In the return direction, Train no 04601 Muzaffarpur - Amritsar Unreserved Weekly festival Special train will depart from Muzaffarpur from 07.10.13 to 25.11.13 (08 trips) on every Monday at 09.15 p.m. to reach Amritsar at 02.55 a.m. the third day.

Consisting of  14 general class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, the 04602/04601 Amritsar- Muzaffarpur - Amritsar Unreserved Weekly festival Special train will stop at Jallandhar City, Ludhiana, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareily, Sahajanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Burhwal, Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonpur & Hajipur stations enroute in both the directions.

Train no 04314/04313 Bareilly-Darbhanga-Bareilly Weekly Express Festival Special Train (16 Trips)

Train no 04314 Bareilly-Darbhanga Weekly Express festival special train will depart from Bareilly  on every Wednesday from 09.10.2013 to 27.11.2013 (08 trips) at 07.10 a.m. to reach Darbhanga at 04.00 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train no 04313 Darbhanga-Bareilly Weekly Express festival special train will depart from Darbhanga o­n every Thursday from 10.10.2013 to 28.11.2013 (08 trips) at 11.30 a.m. to reach Bareilly at 08.15 a.m. the next day.

Comprising of o­ne AC two tier, Two AC three tier, Ten Sleeper Class, Three General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, Train no 04314/04313 Bareilly-Darbhanga-Bareilly Weekly Express festival special train will stop at Lucknow, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations enroute in both directions.

Train no 04022/04021 Delhi Jn.-Patna- Delhi Jn. Tri-Weekly Express (Via Moradabad, Lucknow) Festival Special Train (52 Trips)

Train no 04022 Delhi Jn.-Patna Tri-Weekly express festival Special train will depart from Delhi Jn. from 02.10.13 to 29.11.13 (26 trips) on every Monday, Wednesday & Friday at 01.20 p.m. to reach Patna at 11.00 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction, Train no 04021 Patna- Delhi Jn. Tri-Weekly express festival Special train will depart from Patna from 03.10.13 to 30.11.13 (26 trips) on every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 03.00 p.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 12.30 p.m. (noon) the next day.

Consisting of  six sleeper class, six general class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, Train no 04022/04021 Patna- Delhi Jn.-Patna Tri-Weekly express festival Special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad , Bareilly, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara & Danapur stations enroute in both the directions.

Train no 04024/04023 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Darbhanga- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Bi-Weekly Express Festival Special Train (32 Trips)

Train no 04024 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Darbhanga Bi-Weekly Express festival Special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 07.10.13 to 29.11.13 (16 trips) on every Monday, & Friday at 10.30 a.m. to reach Darbhanga at 12.05 p.m. (noon) the next day.  In the return direction, the 04023 Darbhanga- Delhi Sarai Rohilla Bi-Weekly Express festival Special train will depart from Darbhanga from 08.10.13 to 30.11.13 (16 trips) on every Tuesday & Saturday at 03.00 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 05.00 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of  six sleeper class, six general class and two second class cum luggage van coaches, Train no 04024/04023 Darbhanga- Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Darbhanga Bi-Weekly Express festival Special train will stop at New Delhi, Ghaziabad, Moradabad , Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonpur, Hajipur, Muzzafarpur & Samastipur stations enroute in both the directions.

In addition to these festival specials, Northern Railway has already announced to run 496 trips of Festival Special trains i.e. Train no 08034/08033 between Anand Vihar Trml.- Santragachi (weekly), Train no 04051/04052 between Anand Vihar – Jammu Tawi (Tri-weekly), Train no 04203/04204 between Varanasi – Delhi Jn. (Daily), Train no 04033/04034 between New Delhi – Udhampur (tri-weekly), Train no 03125/03126 between Kolkata – Anand Vihar Trml.
