AVAIL BERTHS IN SPECIAL TRAINS TO AVOID RUSH IN ECoR

It is seen that, passengers are not getting confirmed berths in their proposed train journey due to heavy rush in different regular trains during the Summer. With an aim to provide comfortable journey to the commuters during Summer peak period and to avoid rush in different regular trains, East Coast Railway has introduced Summer Special Trains towards different destinations of the country from its jurisdiction including running of weekly Premium SuperFast Special Trains.

Further it is seen that, passengers still booking the wait-list tickets in regular trains which are not able to be confirmed till their journey date during these days. However, most of the special trains running by Railways from & through East Coast Railway have availability of berths in different classes. Passengers may avail the facility of Special trains to go to their destinations.

BHUBANESWAR-YESVANTPUR PREMIUM SUPER FAST SPECIAL:

Train No 00851/00852 Bhubaneswar – Yesvantpur - Bhubaneswar weekly Premium Super Fast Special train leaving Bhubaneswar o­n every Wednesday towards Yesvantpur and leaving Yesvantpur o­n Thursdays towards Bhubaneswar have availability of berths in Sleeper & AC-3 tier o­n 4^th, 5^th& 12^th June.

PURI-SANTRAGACHHI:

Train No 08401 Puri-Santragachhi Special train Leaving Puri o­n every Friday towards Santragachhi has availability of berths in Sleeper, AC-3 tier & AC-2 tier coaches o­n 20^th & 27^th June 2014. In the return direction, 08402 Santragachi-Puri Express leaving Santragachi towards Puri o­n every Saturday has availability of berths in Sleeper, AC-3 tier & AC-2 tier coaches o­n 14^th, 21^st& 28^th June 2014.

SAMBALPUR-YESVANTPUR:

Train No 08301 Sambalpur-Yesvantpur Special train leaving Sambalpur o­n every Wednesday towards Yesvanpur has availability of berths in Sleeper Class o­n 25^th June 2014. In the return direction, 08302 Yesvantpur-Sambalpur Special train leaving Yesvantpur towards Sambalpur o­n every Fridays has available of berths in Sleeper Class & AC-2 tier o­n 20^th& 27^th June 2014.

BHUBANESWAR-NEW DELHI SPECIAL:

Train No 02815 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Special train leaving Bhubaneswar o­n every Sunday towards New Delhi having availability of berths in Sleeper Class o­n 22^nd and 29^th June 2014. In the Return direction 02816 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Special Train leaving New Delhi o­n Mondays towards Bhubaneswar is having availability of berths in Sleeper, 3^rd AC and 2^nd AC o­n 23^rd and 30^th June 2014.

HOWRAH-YESVANTPUR SUPERFAST PREMIUM SPECIAL TRAIN:

Train No 02863 Howrah-Yesvantpur Super Fast Special Premium train leaving Howrah o­n every Mondays towards Yesvantpur having availability of berths in 3^rdAC and 2^nd AC o­n 2^nd and 9tjh June 2014. In the return direction, 02864 Yesvantpur-Howrah Superfast Special Premium Train leaving Howrah o­n every Wednesdays towards Howrah having availability of berths in 3^rdand 2^nd AC also o­n 4^th and 6^th June 2014.

SANTRAGACHHI-ERNAKULAM:

Train No 02851 Santragachhi-Ernakulam Special train leaving Santragachhi o­n every Saturdays towards Ernakkulam having availability of berths in Sleeper Class o­n 21^st and 28^th June 2014. In the return direction, 02852 Ernakulam-Santragachi Special train leaving Ernakulam o­n every Tuesdays towards Santragachi having availability of berths in Sleeper and 3^rdAC o­n 24^th June and 1^st July 2014.

Apart from this, berths in all classes are available in 08501/08502, 08503/08504 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special trains and 02728/02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam super fast special premium trains o­n different days from both the directions.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS IN NORTHERN RAILWAY ZONE

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity of Trains  during summer season, Railways has decided to augment the 18237/18238  Bilaspur - Amritsar - Bilaspur Chhattisgarh Express and Train No 12309/12310  Rajendra Nagar - New Delhi - Rajendra Nagar  Patna Rajdhani  As Under :-

Train No 18237/18238  Bilaspur - Amritsar - Bilaspur Chhattisgarh Express will be augmented by one additional second class sleeper coach from  01/06/2014 to 30/06/2014 when departing from Bilaspur and from  03/06/2014  to 02/07/2014 when departing from Amritsar.

Train No 12309/12310  Rajendra Nagar - New Delhi  Patna Rajdhani  will be augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier coach from  30/05/2014 TO 10/06/2014 when departing from Rajendra Nagar and from 31/05/2014 TO 11/06/2014 when departing from New Delhi .

EXTENSION OF RUN OF TRAIN NO. 05023 / 05024 BETWEEN GORAKHPUR - PUNE WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL (08 TRIPS)

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railway has decided to extend the trips of Train No 05023 / 05024 Gorakhpur - Pune - Gorakhpur (Weekly) summer special train (04 trips in each direction) as follows-

The trips of 05023 Gorakhpur - Pune (Weekly) summer special train will be extended from 05.06.2014 to 26.06.2014 ( 04 trips) on every Thursday while in the return direction, the 05024 Pune - Gorakhpur (Weekly) summer special train  will be extended from 07.06.2014 to 28.06.2014 ( 04 trips) on every Saturday. 

The other features like composition, route, stoppages, timings etc. will remain unchanged in both the directions.
