CANCELLATION/DIVERSION OF TRAINS DUE TO DERAILMENT OF 12987 SEALDAH-AJMER EXPRESS NEAR RURA ON NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY

Due to derailment of 12987 Sealdah-Ajmer Express o­n 28.12.2016 near Rura station o­n North Central Railway, the rail traffic o­n Delhi-Kanpur section has been disrupted. As a result, the following trains have been  cancelled/diverted to run as  under -

CANCELLATION/PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF TRAINS DUE TO 42 DAYS TRAFFIC BLOCK FOR REPLACEMENT OF BROKEN WASHABLE APRON OF PF NO. 9 AT VARANASI STATION OVER NORTHERN RAILWAY FROM 05.02.2016

Northern Railway is undertaking the replacement workof broken washable apron of PF no. 9 at Varanasi station. Owing to the work, there will be 42 days traffic block from 05.02.2016. As a result the following trains will remain cancelled/partially cancelled as per the following programme:

CANCELLATION OF PASSENGER TRAINS

     The 54261 Mughalsarai-Jaunpur, 54262 Jaunpur - Varanasi, 54267/54268 Mughalsarai – Varanasi – Mughalsarai, 54263/54266 Varanasi –Sultanpur- Varanasi, 54270 Varanasi – Mughalsaraipassenger trains shall remain cancelled during the traffic block.

SHORT TERMINATION OF TRAINS

       The 54256/54255 Lucknow- Varanasi- Lucknow passenger train will be short-terminated at/originate from Pratapgarh during the traffic block

EXTENSION OF RUN OF 09807/09808 KOTA-HAZRAT NIZAMUDDIN-KOTA DAILY EXPRESS

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers, the Railway has decided to extend the run of Special TrainNos. 09807/09808 Kota-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kota Daily as per following programme:-

The 09807 Kota-Hazrat Nizamuddin Daily Special train will depart from Kota from 26.11.2015 to 31.12.2015 (36 Trips) at 09.10 p.m. to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 04.25 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 09808Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kota Daily Special train will depart from Hazrat Nizamuddin from 27.11.2015 to 01.01.2016 (36 Trips) at 05.15 a.m. to reach Kota. At 01.15 p.m. the same day.

Consisting of o­ne AC 2 tier-cum-AC 3 tier, o­ne AC 3 tier, five Sleeper Class, three General Class and two Disabled Friendly Second class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 09807/09808Kota-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Kota Daily Special train will stop at Indargarh,Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Shri Mahabirji , Hindaun City, Bhayana,  Bharatpur, Mathura and Faridabad stations enroute in both the directions.

NORTHERN RAILWAY PLANS FOR CANCELLATION/PARTIAL CANCELLATION OF PASSENGER TRAINS DURING ENSUING FOGGY WEATHER

The foggy conditions especially during winter season pose a great challenge to the railways especially in the northern region of the country in terms of operations and safety. In view of safety of trains and passengers speed of trains is restricted to minimum. To prevent inconveniences to the passengers during foggy season, railways is compelled to make a plan every year to cancel/partially cancel/divert those trains which are affected the most during fog.

This year Northern Railway has planned to cancel 10 pairs & partially cancel 2 pairs of the following Passenger trains during the period (as per dates shown against each train).

Restoration of SERVICES OF 14681 / 14682 NEW DELHI-JALANDHSUPER FAST EXPRESS 12455 / 12456 DELHI SARAI ROHILLA-BIKANERAR CITY

It is hereby notified to the general public that the 14681 / 14682 New Delhi-Jalandhar City-New Delhi Express earlier slated to be cancelled during the ensuing foggy weather from 31.12.2014 to 15.02.2015 from both directions & 12455 / 12456 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Super Fast Express from 31.12.2014 to 15.02.2015from Delhi Sarai Rohilla and from 01.01.2015 to 16.02.2015 from Bikaner will be restored to operate as per their regular schedule.

 

The earlier announcement for cancellation of the 14681 / 14682 New Delhi-Jalandhar City-New Delhi Express & 12455 / 12456 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Bikaner Superfast Express may be treated as cancelled.
