26 Special Trains between Sambalpur-Banaswadi (via Vijayawada)

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, 26 special trains will be run between Sambalpur – Banaswadi - Sambalpur via Vijayawada as detailed below:-

Sambalpur - Banaswadi - Sambalpur Weekly Special Trains (26 services) :

Train No. 08301 Sambalpur - Banaswadi Weekly Special Train with special fare will depart Sambalpur at 09:30 hrs o¬n 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th July, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th Aug, 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th Sep, 2018 (Wednesdays), arrive/depart Vijayawada at 01:25/01:35 hrs o­n the next day and arrive Banaswadi at 16:40 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 08302 Banaswadi - Sambalpur Weekly Special Train will depart Banaswadi at 00:30 hrs o¬n 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th July, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th , 31st Aug, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th Sep, 2018 (Fridays), arrive/depart Vijayawada at 14:15/14:35 hrs o­n the same day and arrive Sambalpur at 06:35 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these weekly trains will stop at Bargarh Road, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Raygada, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai and Krishnarajapuram stations in both the directions.

Due to late running of pairing trains and Pre-Non Interlocking & Non Interlocking work o­n Chandpur Siau and Jharsuguda section of South East Central Railway from 20^thJune to 4^thJuly, 2018, the following trains are Cancelled as detailed below:-

Rescheduled:

1.Train No. 12791 Secunderabad – Danapur Express scheduled to depart Secunderabad at 10:00 hrs o­n 14^th June, 2018 is rescheduled to depart 12:00 hrs o­n the same day.

Cancelled:

1.Train No. 07005 Hyderabad – Raxaul Special train scheduled to depart Hyderabad o­n 21^stJune, 2018 is cancelled.

2.Train No. 07006 Raxaul – Hyderabad special train scheduled to depart Raxaul o­n 24^thJune, 2018 is cancelled.

3.Train No. 07007 Secunderabad – Darbhanga special train scheduled to depart Secunderabad o­n 23^rd & 26^th June, 2018 is cancelled.

4.Train No. 07008 Darbhanga – Secunderabad special train scheduled to depart Darbhanga o­n 26^th & 29^th June, 2018 is cancelled.

5.Train No. 07009 Secunderabad – Barauni special train scheduled to depart Secunderabad o­n 24^th June, 2018 is cancelled.

6.Train No. 07010 Barauni – Secunderabad special train scheduled to depart Barauni o­n 27^thJune, 2018.

Flags Off New Weekly Express between Bidar - CSMT

Shri Bhagwanth Khuba, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Bidar flagged off Bidar – Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) New Weekly Express Train today i.e., 14^th June, 2018 at a function held at Bidar Railway Station in the presence of Shri Raghunath Rao Malkapur, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Council, Bidar & other dignitaries. Shri Shailender Singh, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior railway officials were also present o­n the occasion.

This is the first direct connectivity from Bidar to historical city of Kolhapur and Pandharpur, the holy abode of Lord Vitthal.

This Inaugural special, Train No. 01417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) flagged off today i.e., o­n 14^thJune, 2018 will arrive Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs o­n the next day. Enroute, this Inaugural Special will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.

Bidar Railway station o­n Vikarabad - Parli Vaijanath section is o­ne of the most important station over Secunderabad Division, handling about 7000 passengers (both outward & inward) daily. The average originating passenger earnings of this station is Rs 4.60 lakhs per day. o­n an average, this station handles 20 trains per day (4 Daily express trains, 8 Non-daily express trains, 4 daily Passenger trains and 4 non-daily passenger trains).

Regular Service:-

The regular services will commence Ex. Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) with effect from 20^thJune, 2018 and Ex. Bidar with effect from 21^st June, 2018.

 Train No. 11416 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) - Bidar Inaugural Special Train will depart Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 23.25 hrs o­n Wednesdays (20^th June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Bidar at 10.15 hrs o­n the next day i.e., Thursdays.

             Train No. 11417 Bidar - Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) Inaugural Special Train will depart Bidar at 11.45 hrs o­n Thursdays (21^st June, 2018 o­nwards) and arrive Chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj (T) (Kolhapur) at 00.35 hrs (early hours) o­n the next day i.e., Fridays.

Enroute, this train will also stop at Miraj, Pandharpur, Kurduwadi, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Udgir and Bhalki stations.           

These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper class, six General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
