Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU Train Services to be extended upto Morthad

The Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU Train services (Tr.No.77260/77259)will be extended to run up to Morthad.Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister for Railways will flag off the inaugural service of the extended Lingampet Jagityal- Morthad DEMU Train o­n 29^th December, 2016 at Secunderabad (via remote video link). 

The regular services of Tr.Nos.77260/77259 Karimnagar-Morthad-Karimnagar DEMU services will commence from31^st December, 2016 ex. Lingampet Jagityal and from 1^st Jan 2017 ex. Morthad. The Schedule details of the trains are as follows:

Inaugural Train Services:

Inaugural run of Tr.No.07260 Lingampet Jagityal- Mortad DEMU Train:

Train No. 07260 Lingampet Jagityal- Morthad DEMU servicewill depart Lingampet Jagityal at 12.45 hrs o­n 29^th December, 2016 (Thursday) and arrive Morthad at 14.45hrs the same day.

Regular Train Services:

Train No. 77260/77259 Karimnagar-Morthad-Karimnagar DEMU (Five days in a week)

With effect from 31^st December, 2016, Tr.No.77260 Karimnagar-Morthad DEMU service will depart Karimnagar at 14.35hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 16:30hrs. In the extended portion, the train will depart Lingampet Jagityal at 16:35hrs, Medipalli Halt at 16:51hrs, Korutla at 17:12hrs, Metpalli at 17:28hrs and arrive Morthad at 18.30hrs. The train will run o­n Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

In the opposite direction, with effect from 01^st January, 2017 Train No. 77259 Morthad - Karimnagar DEMU service will depart Morthad at 04:00hrs, Metpalli at 04:33hrs, Korutla at 04:49hrs, Medipalli Halt at 05:10hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 05.45hrs. Thereafter, the train will depart Lingampet Jagityal at 05.50hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 07.30hrs. The train will run o­n Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Enroute , between Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal, the train will stop at Kothapalli Halt, Gangadhara, Poduru and Nookapalli Mallial in both directions as at present.

Train No. 77274/77273 Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal-Karimnagar DEMU (Two days in a week)

Train No. 77274 Karimnagar-Lingampet Jagityal DEMU service will depart Karimnagar at 14.35hrs o­n Tuesdays and Fridays, depart Kothapalli Halt at 14.51hrs, Gangadhara at 15.20hrs, Poduru at 15.41hrs,Nookapalli Mallial at 16.01hrs and arrive Lingampet Jagityal at 16.30hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 77273 Lingampet Jagityal- Karimnagar DEMU service will depart Lingampet at 05.45hrs o­n Wednesdays and Saturdays, depart Nookapalli Mallial at 06.20hrs, Poduru at 06.41hrs, Gangadhara at 06.56hrs, Kothapalli at 07.16hrs and arrive Karimnagar at 07.30hrs.

Timings of Two MMTS Trains Revised

Evening time Lingampalli to Falaknuma and Hyderabad Train Timings are revised

SCR revised the timings of two MMTS train services as detailed below:-

1. Train No. 47142 Lingampalli-Hyderabad MMTS Service:-

Accordingly, Train No. 47142 Lingampalli-Hyderabad MMTS service will depart Lingampally at 18:00 hrs instead of 18:09 hrs, Chandanagar at 18:04 hrs, Hafeezpet at 18:07, Hitech City at 18:13 hrs, Borabanda at 18:15 hrs, Bharatnagar at 18:18 hrs, Fatehnagar at 18:19 hrs, N.C.Hospital at 18:21 hrs, Begumpet at 18:23 hrs, Necklace Road at 18:27 hrs, Khairatabad at 18:29 hrs, Lakdi Ka pul at 18:33 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 18:50 hrs instead of 18:55 hrs.

2. Train No. 47217 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS Service:-

Train No. 47217 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS service will depart Lingampally at 16:00 hrs instead of 16:08 hrs, Chandanagar at 16:04 hrs, Hafeezpet at 16:08 hrs, Hitech City at 16:12 hrs, Borabanda at 16:14 hrs, Bharatnagar at 16:16 hrs, Fatehnagar at 16:19 hrs, N.C.Hospital at 16:21 hrs, Begumpet at 16:23 hrs, Sanjeevaiah Park at 16:27 hrs, James Street at 16:30 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 16:45 hrs. There

will no change in timings from Secunderabad to Falaknuma stations.

AC Superfast Special Trains between Howrah -Chennai Central

 AC Superfast Special Trains between Howrah -Chennai Central

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, eight special trains are being run between Howrah-Chennai Central as detailed below:-

Train No. 00841 Howrah-Chennai Central AC Superfast Special Train will depart Howrah at 12:40 hrs o­n 7^th, 14^th, 21^stand 28^th January, 2017 (Saturdays) arrive/depart Vijayawada at 07:50 / 08:00 hrson Sunday and arrive Chennai Central at 15:05 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No. 00842 Chennai Central AC Superfast Special Train will depart Chennai Central at 17:10 hrs o­n 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd and 29^th January, 2017 (Sundays)
arrive / depart Vijayawada at 23:45/23:55 hrs and arrive Howrah at 18:30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Rd, Brahmapur, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry and Nellore stations.

This special train will consist of 16 coaches viz., fourteen AC III Tier Class and two Power Car Coaches.

*All these special trains will run as Special Fare Trains.
