Revision of Train Number of Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Special Trains

South Central Railway had announced the run of Special Trains between Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam and Tirupati – Visakhapatnam earlier (vide SCR Press Release Number. 352 dated. 24^th August, 2015).   

The Numbering of Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Special Train has been revised to Train No. 08500 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam Weekly Special from Train No. 08502 notified earlier.

Accordingly, Train No. 08500 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16:30 hrs o­n 14^th, 21^st & 28^th October and 4^th, 11^th, 18^th & 25^th November, 2015 (Wednesdays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:50 hrs o­n the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 23:00 hrs o­n 13^th, 20^th& 27^th October and 3^rd, 10^th 17^th& 24^th November, 2015 (Tuesdays) and arrive Secunderabad at 12:00 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, six General Second Seating and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Day of Service and Timings of Train No. 15905 Kanniyakumari - Dibrugarh Weekly Vivek Express Revised

Day of service and the timings of Train No. 15905 Kanniyakumari-Dibrugarh Weekly Vivek Express train will be revised with effect from 24^th July, 2014.

Accordingly, Train No. 15905 Kanniyakumari-Dibrugarh Weekly Vivek Express will depart Kanniyakumari every Thursday instead of Saturdays as at present.

The timings of the train too are revised. Train No. 15905 Kanniyakumari-Dibrugarh Weekly Vivek Express will depart Kanniyakumari at 11:00 pm o­n Thursdays (instead of 02:45 pm) and arrive Dibrugarh at 07:15 am o­n Mondays (instead of 03:30 am).

Change in Timings of Certain Passenger Train NoS 57623, 57640, 57639

In order to accommodate the rake of recently introduced Double Ducker AC Super Fast Train for pit line maintenance at Kacheguda Station, the pit line examination of T.No. 57623 Kacheguda-Guntur Passenger is shifted from Kacheguda to Guntur and the timings of the following Passenger trains are revised as detailed below:-

1)T.No 57623 Kacheguda-Guntur Passenger:-With effect from 13^th May, 2014, this Passenger Train will depart Kacheguda at 04:45 hrs, instead of 05:10 hrs and arrive Guntur at 21:00 hrs instead of 22:30 hrs.

2)T.No. 57640 Guntur-Tirupati Passenger:-With effect from 12^th May, 2012, this Passenger train will depart Guntur at 04:45 hrs instead of 01:00 hr. and arrive Tirupati at 14:50 hrs instead of 11:55 hrs.

3)T.No.57639 Tirupati-Guntur Passenger:- With effect from 12^th May, 2014, this Passenger train will depart Tirupati at 16:00hrs instead of 15:00hrs and arrive Guntur at 03:15hrs instead of03:00 hrs.
