MEGA BLOCK ON 2.11.2014

Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n Sunday 2.11.2014: -

KALYAN -THANE UP FAST LINE FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.30 PM

UP fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.30 am to 3.33 pm will be diverted o­n UP slow line between Kalyan and Thane stations halting at all stations and further re-diverted o­n UP fast line between Thane and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.

DN fast line services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.08 am to 2.40 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule.

Train No. 50104 Ratnagiri – Dadar passenger will be terminated at Diva station and Train No. 50103 will leave from Diva station o­n 2.11.2014.

NERUL-MANKHURD UP & DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM.

DN Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus from 10.12 am to 2.45 pm and UP Harbour line services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus leaving Panvel/Belapur from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.

However special local trains will run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Mankhurd and Thane – Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via Trans Harbour  / Main line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while travelling. They are also requested to avoid travelling o­n footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.

RUNNING OF SPECIAL TRAINS DURING KARTIKI FAIR AT PANDHARPUR

Central Railway has decided to run special trains with immediate effect upto 6.11.2014 o­n account of Kartiki fair being held at Pandharpur. The main day is o­n 3.11.2014.

These specials will run between Kurduwadi - Pandharpur -  Kurduwadi , Pandharpur - Miraj - Pandharpur and Latur - Pandharpur - Latur section for the convenience of pilgrims attending Kartiki fair held at Pandharpur. During the fair the scheduled passenger trains will be augmented with additional coaches. 

SER TO RUN ONE PAIR JANSADHARAN SPECIAL AND ONE PAIR EMU SPECIAL FOR RAILWAY EXAMINATION

For the convenience of the examinees who will appear for the written examination to be conducted by Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), South Eastern Railway will run o­ne pair of Jansadharan Special between Santragachi – Secunderabad - Santragachi o­n 31/10/2014 from Santragachi and o­n 02/11/2014 from Secunderabad. This apart, o­ne pair of EMU Special will also run between Panskura – Howrah - Panskura o­n Sundays i.e. o­n 02/11/2014, 09/11/2014, 16/11/2014, 23/11/2014 and 30/11/2014.

08045/08046 Santragachi-Secunderabad-Santragachi Jansadharan Special

08045 Santragachi-Secunderabad Jansadharan Special leaving Santragachi o­n 31/10/2014 at 18:00 hours will reach Secunderabad at 23:00 hours, the next day.

In the return direction, 08046 Secunderabad-Santragachi Jansadharan Special leaving Secunderabad at 17:55 hours o­n 02/11/2014 will arrive Santragachi at 21:25 hours, the next day.

Jansadharan Special consisting of 18 coaches (General Second Class-16, Luggage Van-2) will have stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, BrahmapurVizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Vijaywada between Santragachi and Secunderabad.

Panskura-Howrah-Panskura EMU Special

One additional Panskura-Howrah-Panskura EMU Special will run every Sunday from 02/11/2014 to 30/11/2014 for the Railway Examination. The EMU special leaving Panskura at 06:00 hours will arrive Howah at 08:05 hours.

In the return direction, the EMU Special leaving Howrah at 08:25 hours will arrive Panskura at 10:05 hours. The EMU Special will stop at all stations between Panskura-Howrah-Panskura.
