2nd Line (Up-Line) on Vijayawada - Visakhapatnam Section also Opened to Rail Traffic; Train Services Fully Restored

The Rail route to Visakhapatnam o­n Vijayawada-Rajahmundry-Visakhapatnam section of Vijayawada Division has been fully restored for rail traffic today evening at 06:00 pm (i.e., 15^thOctober, 2014) with the opening of the second Railway Line (Up-Line) of the breached track also after completing the repair works.

Consequently, train services o­n this section will run through o­n both the lines (Up & Down). This facilitates running of all trains to/from Visakhapatnam and beyond as per normal schedule.
