SCR to run One Special Train From Kakinada Port to Secunderabad (via Guntur)

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, SCR will run o­ne special train from Kakinada Port to Secunderabad as detailed below:- 

Train No. 07012 Kakinada Port - Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Port at 18:50 hrs o­n 25^thOctober, 2015 and arrive Secunderabad at 08:00 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Kakinada Town, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepallegudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Nadikudi, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations.

This special train will have 12 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Shri Ravindra Gupta Takes Over as General Manager, South Central Railway

Shri Ravindra Gupta has taken over the charge as General Manager, South Central Railway today i.e.21^stOctober 2015. Prior to this assignment, he was Chief Mechanical Engineer, Western Railway, Mumbai.  Shri Ravindra Gupta belongs to the 1975 batch of Special Class Apprentice (SCA).

            His academic qualifications include completion of Part I & II of Council of Engineering Institutions (London) in Mechanical Engineering, Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (AMIE) in Mechanical Engineering and AMIE (Electrical Engineering) from the Institution of Engineers, India. During the course of his academic attainments, he was awarded a Gold Medal for securing first position in AMIE (Mechanical Engineering).

Shri Ravindra Gupta began his working career o­n Indian Railways as Asst. Mechanical Engineer (Diesel) at Itarsi, Central Railway in November 1981. During the course of his 34 year long illustrious career, Shri Ravindra Gupta held several important executive and managerial positions o­n Indian Railways. These include as - Additional Divisional Railway Manager / Allahabad Division / North Central Railway; Chief Workshop Manager, Jamalpur / Eastern Railway; Divisional Railway Manager, Chakradharpur Division/South Eastern Railway; Chief Workshop Engineer, Mumbai / Central Railway; Sr. Deputy General Manager, Mumbai / Central Railway and Chief Administrative Officer, Diesel Locomotive Factory/Marhaura, Patna/ East Central Railway.  He also held several important assignments o­n RITES (Rail India Technical and Economic Service) and RDSO (Research Designs and Standards Organisation) during his distinguished career.

Shri Ravindra Gupta underwent several training programmes in India and Abroad. Amongst these are – an intensive specialized ‘Disaster Management’ module in France and a specialized ‘Braking & Safety System Design for High Speed Train Operation’ programme in United Kingdom (UK) and United States of America (USA), both organized by the World Bank & RITES.

Forty Special Trains between H.S.Nanded-Pune

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Durga Puja festival, forty special trains will be run between Hazur Sahib Nanded – Pune (via., Latur Road) and Hazur Sahib Nanded – Pune (via., Manmad) as detailed below:-

1.  Train No. 07622 / 07621 H.S.Nanded – Pune - H.S.Nanded Special Trains (Via., Latur Road) :- (20 Services)

Train No. 07622 H.S.Nanded – Pune Special Train will depart H.S.Nanded at 21.20 hrs o­n 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd & 29^thOctober, 5^th, 12^th, 19^th & 26^thNovember and 3^rd December, 2015 (Thursdays) and arrive Pune at 11.00 hrs o­n the next day.

Train No. 07621 Pune – H.S.Nanded Special Train will depart Pune at 19.55 hrs o­n 2^nd, 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd & 30^th October, 6^th, 13^th, 20^th & 27^th November and 4^thDecember, 2015 (Fridays) and arrive H.S.Nanded at 09.25 hrs o­n the next day.

These special train will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Parli Vaijnath, Latur Road, Latur, Usmanabad, Kurdawadi and Daund stations in both the directions.

2.  Train No.02730 / 02739 H.S.Nanded – Pune - H.S.Nanded Special Trains (Via., Manmad) :- (20 Services)

Train No. 02730 H.S.Nanded – Pune Special Train will depart H.S.Nanded at 20.50 hrs o­n 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th, 24^th & 31^stOctober, 7^th, 14^th, 21^st & 28^thNovember and 5^th December, 2015 (Saturdays) and arrive Pune at 09.20 hrs o­n the next day.

Train No. 02729 Pune – H.S.Nanded Special Train will depart Pune at 21.35 hrs o­n 4^th, 11^th, 18^th & 25^th October, 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd & 29^th November and 6^thDecember, 2015 (Sundays) and arrive H.S.Nanded at 10.00 hrs o­n the next day.

These special trains will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Kopergaon, Belapur, Ahmadnagar and Daund stations in both the directions.

These special trains will have 11 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, three Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
