Advance Reservation for Train No 02791 Secunderabad-Patna-Secunderabad Premium Special Trains to Commence at 08:00 hrs on 3rd May, 2014

The advance reservation for two Premium Special trains, announced by SCR between Secunderabad and Patna, will commence at 08:00 hrs tomorrow i.e., 3^rd, May, 2014.

These trains are No. 02791 Secunderabad-Patna Premium Special departing Secunderabad at 09:00 hrs o­n14^th May, 2014and No. 02792 Patna - Secunderabad Premium Special departing Patna at 17:30 hrs o­n 16^th May, 2014.

The advance booking of tickets for these trains can be done o­nly through IRCTC’s Portal o­n Internet. Tickets will not be issued manually at reservation counters. However, vacant berths available after charting will be offered at current day booking counters at the train originating stations o­n the train departure date.

Trains Rescheduled / Regulated / Partially Cancelled / Cancelled due to Line Block for Launching RCC Boxes for rebuilding of Bridges on Secunderabad-Dhone Section

For launching RCC boxes in connection with the work of rebuilding of Bridges o­n Secunderabad - Dhone Section, a traffic block was announced o­n13^th May 2014. As this traffic block is preponed to 4^thMay, 2014, the following trains will be rescheduled / regulated / partially cancelled / cancelled o­n 4^th May, 2014 as detailed below:-

1. Train No.57425 Kacheguda - Guntakal Passenger will be rescheduled / regulated for 40 minutes between Gollapally – Jadcherla stations.

2.    Train No. 57436 Kurnool City - Kacheguda Passenger will be partially cancelled between Mahbubnagar - Kacheguda and will run as Train No. 57448 from Mahabubnagar to       Secunderabad.

3.    Train No. 57447 Kacheguda - Mahbubnagar passenger is cancelled.

Two Premium Special Trains between Secunderabad and Patna

South Central Railway will run two Premium Special trains between Secunderabad and Patna in order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season.

Accordingly, Train No. 02791 Secunderabad-Patna Premium Special train will depart Secunderabad at 09:00 hrs o­n14^th May, 2014 (Wednesday) and arrive Patna at 13:30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02792 Patna - Secunderabad Premium Special train will depart Patna at 17:30 hrs o­n 16^th May, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 21:25 hrs o­n the next day.

These trains will have o­nly five stoppages enroute in both the directions viz., Ramagundam, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Chheoki and Mughal Sarai. The train consists of 16 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, o­ne Pantry Car and two Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.

The Unique features of ‘Premium’ train service are:

1)   ‘Premium’ special train is a reserved service aimed to meet the heavy demand for Rail travel during busy season o­n popular routes. It is primarily targeted at that segment of passengers, who are willing to pay premium fare for confirmed berths at the time of booking itself availing enhanced standards of service. 

2)   The fare structure for this Premium Special Train is variable and follows a dynamic pricing model. The fare will also include catering charges.

3)   The booking of tickets can be done o­nly through IRCTC’s portal o­n internet. Tickets will not be issued manually at reservation counters. However, vacant berths available after charting will be offered at current day booking counters at the train originating stations.

4)  Only confirmed tickets will be issued for Premium Trains. No waitlisted tickets shall be issued. There will be no refund except when the train is fully cancelled o­n railway account due to unforeseen circumstances. Adult fare shall be charged for all passengers irrespective of their age. No concession shall be applicable to this train. Ticket modifications/issue of duplicate ticket etc. is not permitted.
