Extension of AC Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Lucknow by 8 more trips - Bookings for 02111 on special charges open from 29.8.2015

Central Railway has decided to extend the run of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Lucknow AC Superfast weekly special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under –

02111 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.20 hrs o­n every Sat from 5.9.2015 to 26.9.2015 and arrive Lucknow at 13.35 hrs next day.

02112 AC Superfast weekly special will leave Lucknow at 16.20 hrs o­n every Sun from 6.9.2015 to 27.9.2015 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 17.30 hrs next day. 

HALTS: Thane, Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Habibganj, Jhansi, Orai and Kanpur.

COMPOSITION: o­ne First AC, Three AC-2 Tier, Ten AC-3 Tier, o­ne AC Pantry Car. 

Reservation: Bookings for train No. 02111 o­n Special Charges will open from 29.8.2015.

Kumbhmela Special Local train from Kasara to Dadar on 30.08.2015 (Sat /Sun Midnight)

Central Railway has decided to run o­ne special local train from Kasara to Dadar o­n 30.08.2015 (Saturday/Sunday Midnight) for the benefit of passengers attending Sinhastha Kumbhmela at Nashik. 

Special local will leave Kasara at 01.00 a.m. o­n 29/30.08.2015 and will arrive Dadar at 03.20 am stopping at all stations between Kasara & Dadar. 

MEGA BLOCK ON 30.08.2015

Central Railway will operate Mega Block o­n its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work o­n 30.08.2015: -

MAIN LINE: -
MATUNGA-MULUND DN FAST LINE FROM 10.45 AM TO 3.15 PM

All Dn fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai from 10.08 am to 2.54 pm will be diverted o­n Dn slow line between Matunga and Mulund stations halting at all stations between Sion and Mulund and further diverted o­n Dn fast line from Thane. These services will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule. 

All Up fast services leaving Thane from 10.46 am to 3.28 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule. 

All slow services arriving and leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

Dn Mail/Express trains leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Dadar will be diverted o­n DN slow line between Matunga and Mulund station during block period.

HARBOUR LINE:
PANVEL-NERUL UP AND DN HARBOUR LINES FROM 11.00 AM TO 3.00 PM

Up Harbour line services towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel from 10.43 am to 3.27 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Harbour line services to Panvel leaving Nerul from 10.41 am to 3.17 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.

Up Trans-Harbour line services towards Thane leaving Panvel from 11.05 am to 3.19 pm will remain suspended between Panvel and Nerul and Dn Trans-Harbour line services from Thane to Panvel leaving Nerul from 11.42 am to 2.48 pm will remain suspended between Nerul and Panvel.

Panvel - Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block. However, special local trains will run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai- Nerul and Thane - Nerul sections during the block period. 

Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual. Passengers are requested not to take any risks while traveling. They are also requested to avoid traveling o­n footboard, rooftop of locals and not to board extremely over crowded trains. Passengers are requested to bear with the Railway Administration for the inconvenience caused.
