In view of Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at
Allahabad, Lucknow Bench's instructions, Railway Board has decided that in case
of season ticket holders who have once furnished affidavit in proper proforma
about their residential address, shall not be required to furnish it again at
the time of renewal of that season ticket.
However, season ticket will be cancelled of those passengers
who have given fake addresses during the time of issue of season ticket as per
details furnished by GRP/RPF. In case, the persons whose season tickets are
cancelled, provide proper application with correct address, a fresh season
ticket may be issued to such persons.
