Seventy Employees Bag Man of the Month Awards



South Central Railway bestowed Seventy employees with “Man of the Month Award” for the months of September, October, November and December 2015. The Awards were presented by Shri Ravindra Gupta, General Manager, South Central Railway, today i.e 15th February, 2016 at General Managers Chamber, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

Shri A.K. Gupta, Addl. General Manager, Shri S.P. Sahu, Chief Safety Officer, Shri S.N. Singh, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri Kabir Ahmed, Chief Mechanical Engineer Shri Solan Gupta, Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri Sivaprasad, Chief Passenger Traffic Manager were present o­n the occasion.

Belonging to various safety categories, the band of awardees consists of Loco Pilots, Loco Inspectors, Station Managers, Train Guards, Points Men, Night Patrol Men, Engineering Staff, Gate Men, Carriage & Wagon Technicians, Signal & Tele-communication Technicians, Electrical Staff, RPF Staff, from all the Divisions of SCR.  
 
When noticed unsafe incidents / conditions o­n the tracks or o­n the trains, these awardees responded quickly to avoid untoward incidents which might have endangered the safety of passengers/railway properties.  They have promptly informed the authorities concerned for appropriate immediate action to rectify the defects.  The unsafe conditions noticed by them include roller bearing failures, weld failures, rail fractures, break binding, body bulging, jerk messages, Level Crossing in open condition, smoke/fire o­n the rolling stock, etc.

Trains Rescheduled due to Traffic Block

Due to Traffic Block between Secunderabad – Dhone Section  on 16thFebruary, 2016 for Launching of RCC Boxes at Bridge Nos.288, 303 and 325 the following trains are Rescheduled as detailed below:-
1.Train No. 57426 Guntakal - Kacheguda Passenger scheduled to depart Guntakal at 05:45 hrs. o­n 16.02.2016 will depart at 09:30 hrs.
2.Train No. 57425 Kacheguda - Guntakal  Passenger scheduled to depart Kacheguda at 09:40 hrs. o­n 16.02.2016 will depart at 12:30 hrs. o­n the same day.
3.Train No. 57473 Kacheguda- Bodhan Passenger scheduled to depart Kacheguda at 16:10 hrs. o­n 16.02.2016 will depart at 19:00 hrs. o­n the same day.

SCR to run Eight Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will run eight special trains to various destinations as detailed below.
Kakinada Port-Secunderabad- Kakinada Port Special Train (via Guntur):-

Train No. 07054 Kakinada Port - Secunderabad Special train will depart Kakinada Port at 17:45 hrs o­n 17th February, 2016 and arrive Secunderabad at 04:30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07053 Secunderabad-Kakinada Port Special train will depart Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs o­n 20th February, 2016 and arrive Kakinada Port at 06:00 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kakinada Town, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepallegudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalle, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations in both the directions.

Secunderabad- Tirupati- Secunderabad Special Train (via Kazipet):-

Train No. 02764 Secunderabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 19:20 hrs o­n 18th February, 2016 and arrive Tirupati at 09:25 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02763 Tirupati-Secunderabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 19:55 hrs o­n 19thFebruary, 2016 and arrive Secunderabad at 08:20 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations in both the directions. 

Tirupati- Kakinada Town-Tirupati Special Train:-

Train No. 07942 Tirupati- Kakinada Town Special train will depart Tirupati at 19:00 hrs o­n 17thFebruary, 2016 and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:30 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07941 Kakinada Town - Tirupati Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 19:00 hrs o­n 20th February, 2016 and arrive Tirupati at 07:00 hrs the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, Kavali, o­ngole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both directions. 
Kakinada Town-Secunderabad- Kakinada Town Special Train:-

Train No. 07012 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad special train will depart Kakinada Town at 18:00 hrs o­n 18thFebruary, 2016 and arrive Secunderabad at 04:30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07011 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town special train will depart Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs o­n 19th February, 2016 and arrive Kakinada Town at 05:15 hrs o­n the next day.


Enroute, these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Piduguralla, Miryalaguda and Nalgonda stations in both the directions.

All these special trains will consist 15 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, o­ne Second Class Sitting, two General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

Special Trains for Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jathara

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers attending Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jathra, South Central Railway will run eight special trains between Secunderabad-Warangal-Secunderabad as detailed below:-

Secunderabad-Warangal- Secunderabad Special Trains:- (08 services)

Train No. 07436 Secunderabad – Warangal MEMU Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 09.30 hrs from 17thto 20th February, 2016 and arrive Warangal at 12:45 hrs o­n the same day.

Train No. 07437 Warangal – Secunderabad MEMU Special Train will depart Warangal at 13:20 hrs from 17thto 20th February, 2016 and arrive Secunderabad at 16.30 hrs o­n the same day.
 
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Moula-ali, Cherlapalli, Ghatkesar, Bibinagar, Bhongir, Raigir, Wangapalli, Aler, Pembarti, Jangaon, Raghunathpalli, Ghanpur, Pindial and Kazipet stations in both the directions.

Intensive Ticket Checking Drive Conducted in MMTS sections

Intensive ticket checking drive was conducted in the Suburban (MMTS) sections of Secunderabad/Hyderabad-Lingampalli and Secunderabad-Faluknama from 10th to 12th February, 2016 to curb ticketless / irregular travel and ensure comfortable and safe journey of bonafide rail passengers.
  The Check was conducted under the direct supervision of Shri. M.Papi Reddy, Chief Commercial Manager, South Central Railway. Commercial officers of Headquarters and Secunderabad, Hyderabad Divisions were associated in the check. As part of the check, Chief Commercial Manager interacted with the passengers to asses the issues concerning suburban rail travelers. Chief Commercial Manager also advised the passengers to utilize the facility of ATVMs available at stations for purchasing tickets. He further requested passengers to use the recently launched “Mobile Application for Paperless Unreserved Tickets” which provides seamless ticketing facility for Suburban Rail users through smart phones. 
               The check was undertaken by 130 ticket checking staff, supplemented by 41 Railway Protection Force (RPF) Personnel. A total of 639 persons were penalized for travelling without ticket and 135 cases of un-booked luggage were detected. An amount of Rs.1,93,360/- was realized towards penalty during the three day intensive ticket checking drive.

MMTS Trains Partially Cancelled due to Bridge Works



Due to Bridge ( Box pushing) works  between Falaknuma and Kacheguda Stations the following trains are partially cancelled from 13th to 16th February, 2016 as detailed below:-
  1. Train No. 47189 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad - Falaknuma.
  2. Train No. 47169  Falaknuma-Lingampalli MMTS service is partially cancelled between Falaknuma - Secunderabad.
  3. Train No. 47180 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad - Falaknuma.
  4. Train No. 47160 Falaknuma-Lingampalli MMTS service is partially cancelled between Falaknuma - Secunderabad.

Partial Cancellation of Six MMTS Trains to improve Punctuality :
Six non peak MMTS Trains are partially cancelled between Secunderabad -  Falaknuma o­n experimental basis from 15th February to 30thApril, 2016 to improve punctuality as these services are running to the tight schedule.
  1. Train No. 47184 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad - Falaknuma.
  2. Train No. 47162 Falaknuma-Lingampalli MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad - Lingampalli.
  3. Train No. 47215 Lingampalli-Falaknuma MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad – Falaknuma.
  4. Train No. 47216 Falaknuma-Lingampalli MMTS service is partially cancelled between Falaknuma -Secunderabad.
  5. Train No. 47209 Hyderabad -  Falaknuma MMTS service is partially cancelled between Secunderabad- Falaknuma.
  6. Train No. 47209 Falaknuma - Hyderabad MMTS service is partially cancelled between Falaknuma- Secunderabad.
